How about those egg prices? Chicks this spring will be $6-7 each (I just heard at the feed store). Why? Bird flu. If you don’t know why egg and chick prices are so high and you eat eggs and chicken, I encourage you to do some research.
It would be great to go back to small, sustainable, local farms and better yet, let’s help these factory farms find a new direction that is better for them, us, the environment and the economy. Raise vegetables and not animals.

Momma’s grave settled in all of this rain. Funny, I’m not settled about it at all. We miss you, Grace. (Momma died in October)

Frankie is doing great, he’s SO big. Not Bully (his Daddy) big, but he’s getting there. He’s still super sweet and seems very happy. Now that you’re gone, he follows Elizabeth everywhere. I’m not sure that she’s thrilled about it, but she does watch after him in your absence. I know she won’t drop the ball. You can rest in peace, he’s in good hooves!
