As my family and I are packing our home, and preparing to make the long move out of state, I am flooded with emotions and thoughts of all that living here in McMinnville has brought to me personally. The blessings of friendships, a business that I LOVE and treasure, the dogs and the clients that I feel so lucky to have met and been able to train. The time and space to heal from a disease that I was given months to survive, and yet I knew McMinnville was a place to offer me the solace, the time, the peace in my heart to rest and heal. I am not sure how I knew, but I did. I felt at home here for the first time in my life. Growing up in Southern California never felt like my place. The mountains, the forests, the rain, the seasons, the imperfections of a real life were what I knew were in my soul and I found that and more in this little quirky town called McMinnville.

I have a few other items on my checklist to complete before I leave, and I am not sure I will get those done, but I am going to try.

THINGS TO DO

* ONE LAST REACTIVE DOG BOOTCAMP - 8/23 and 8/24 9:00 to 11:30 am

* Training for anyone that would like to be an independent Professional Pet Sitter, or a Dog Walker (WE ARE IN NEED OF BOTH OPTIONS IN MAC) . I have 30 years of experience, and I would like to offer the next 2 Tuesday evenings 8/19 and 8/26 6:30 to 8:30 pm to teach and train anyone that would like to start their own independent business offering either of these services in our community. I have so many referrals and people that are always seeking in home pet sitters, people that board dogs in their homes, and dog walkers. This is a fantastic career and done right, can be full time. * I am leaving you all in the capable hands of a wonderful Lady that i have been training over the past 3 years, named Amber Heckman, her business is Amber H DogsAmber H Dogs. I love this lady and trust her. I know you will benefit greatly by attending her upcoming foundational classes.
