🔬 What is RHVD?
RHVD (Rabbit Hemorrhagic Viral Disease), also known as Rabbit Calicivirus Disease (RCD), is a highly contagious and potentially fatal viral infection that can affect rabbits of all ages. It spreads rapidly and poses a significant risk to the rabbit community. Protecting your furry friends against RHVD is of utmost importance.

💉 Why Vaccinate?
Vaccination is the most effective method to prevent RHVD and ensure the well-being of your beloved rabbits. By getting your bunnies vaccinated, you not only safeguard their health but also help control the spread of this dangerous disease within the rabbit population.

🔍 Wellness Exam Requirement:
To ensure the health and safety of every rabbit receiving the RHVD vaccination, each one will need to have a current wellness exam. Don't worry if your rabbit hasn't had one recently! Dr Pyrdek and Dr Sinclair will be available on the day of vaccination to perform wellness exams.

⏳ Vaccination Schedule:
Please note that RHVD vaccination requires a two-dose regimen. The initial vaccination will be administered on September 30th with a follow-up vaccination on October 21st to provide complete protection for your rabbits.

Take a sneak peek into the bladder of an adorable blocked kitty! 😿 After unblocking the urethra, Dr. Pyrdek was able to flush the bladder while a catheter was placed.
