Take a sneak peek into the bladder of an adorable blocked kitty! 😿
After unblocking the urethra, Dr. Pyrdek was able to flush the bladder while a catheter was placed. When flushing, you can see all those sandy crystals start to swirl. 🌀 Luckily for this kitty, his owners were able to bring him in for treatment right away, and he made a full recovery. 🙂
🚨 Watch out for these common signs of a blocked cat:
🔹 Frequent trips to the litter box without producing urine
🔹 Straining or crying while attempting to urinate
🔹 Licking the genital area excessively
🔹 Blood in the urine
