While the winter wonderland is beautiful, it also brings some hazards for our furry friends. Here are a few tips to keep your pets safe and cozy this season:

🐾 Limit Time Outdoors – If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them! Shorten walks and watch for signs of discomfort like shivering or lifting paws.

❄️ Protect Those Paws – Ice, snow, and salt can be harsh on paw pads. Wipe their paws after walks and consider booties for extra protection.

🚗 Beware of Antifreeze – Even small amounts of antifreeze are highly toxic to pets. Keep it out of reach and clean up any spills immediately.

🔥 Provide a Warm Spot – Make sure your pets have a warm, dry place to rest indoors, away from drafts and cold floors.

Keep an Eye on Senior Pets – Cold weather can make arthritis worse. If your pet seems stiff or sore, we can help with treatment options!

As we are into colder months, it’s important to remember that dryer safety is key, especially with curious cats around! 🐾 Steve here is making a bad choice by deciding the dryer is the perfect hangout spot. 😬 Cats love cozy spots, but we want to make sure they’re safe! Always double-check the dryer before using it—look inside and make sure no one has snuck in for a nap.

Keep dryer doors closed when not in use, and be mindful of the sound of the drum. If your cat is near the laundry area, they might get curious when they hear it spinning. Safety first for both your pets and your laundry!

This adorable kitten recently found her forever home but came down with some upper respiratory issues.
