Meet Shelly and Gracie! Both of these precious souls were surrendered to a shelter, where their fate was unknown. Not because of anything they did wrong, but because of their humans.
Shelly was surrendered with her three puppies, that were only a few weeks old. She is a good mama that did her part, raising her beautiful babies. It isn’t her fault she was put in this situation, left at a shelter, hoping her babies would make it. She now needs to get her vetting so that she, along with her babies, can find forever homes. She will need to be spayed, get her shots, and other vetting that the rescues require in order to leave. (Vetting needs: dhpp x 2 $12, rabies $10, bordetella $10, deworm $5, health certificate $40, crate fee $45, spay $95, 4dx $45, antibiotics for tick disease $25, bravecto $25)

Gracie is the sweetest girl from Abernathy. She was dumped, very pregnant.
She was going to get euthanized, but she started to go into labor and gave birth to nine puppies. She had a foster in place the next morning but unfortunately all of her babies passed away that night at the shelter. She has been through so much and deserves a place to call home. Junior has had a lot going on in a short amount of time. He came in as a stray and then a dog bit him on the foot. His foot was having a hard time healing so he went to the vet to get looked at and get some meds. Someone decided to adopt him, but he got out of the yard and ended up back at the shelter. Adopter picked him up and then the next thing we know he was at the Tahoka shelter. Apparently he wasn’t wanted so we grabbed him and luckily found a foster and rescue. Otherwise…he would’ve been euthanized. Shelly’s puppies are so adorable! Thankfully they were tagged quickly so we could get them out of the shelter! They are thriving and are almost ready to go to rescue!
