Take a look! This image shows just how dangerously hot surfaces like asphalt, concrete, and even grass can get compared to the air temperature.

How can you protect your pets?
🚶Walk during cooler hours (early morning or late evening)
⛱️ Stick to shaded paths or grass
🤚 Test surfaces with your hand (7-second rule)

And always watch for signs of heat stroke: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting.

It means we hold ourselves to the highest standards in veterinary care—standards that cover everything from cleanliness and surgery to pain management, patient care, and medical records.

Only about 15% of vet practices in the U.S. and Canada are AAHA accredited. Why? Because it’s voluntary—and it’s a lot of work. But we believe your pets and you deserve nothing less.
