Double Take Stables is a full service equine facility that is focuses mostly on eventing, and low level hunter/jumpers. We also are a sales barn- we most commonly have Thoroughbreds in for training and consignment.

Cody’s Clever Devon is a 16y/o registered Appendix gelding that stands around 15.1 hh. Devon is great on the ground and under saddle. He’s been great in both the western and English saddle. He’s super sweet, smart, and handsome! He does have one eye, but that doesn’t stop him from being amazing! Stands great for the farrier, vet, bathing, loads with ease on the trailer, overall the most down to earth guy.

He has recently been in work testing the waters of jumping. He is great on the flat and enjoys 18” to 2’, not really looking for anything higher. He’s a super solid guy, been hacked out on trails alone or with others. No spook, no buck, no rear. He’s got all the fancy buttons for an advanced/intermediate rider, but would love to teach a beginner rider, or even be the perfect trail horse! Very safe quiet guy. Easy keeper. Only available to a great home.

Handsome gelding! The End of Eras is around 17h and 7yo registered APHA GeLding. He is a sweet boy and very well behaved on the ground. Stands for vet, farrier, bathing, loads, ties etc. happy inside or outside.
Undersaddle he never really got a formal start and needs consistent work. Has talent needs direction suits him well. He is a cute mover with a big step but just not quite how to use his body. He needs a good rider to Develop and bring him along! He isn't dirty or acrobatic just green. Has hopped over a few jumps and hacked on a few trails.

Only considering selling to a great home. Not in a hurry because I'm having too much fun with her.
Circe is a 4yo percheron x dutch harness mare that stands around 16.1. she is excellent on the ground, easy in the stall, low man in the pasture and great to haul. She stands for vet and farrier (clippers are not her friend yet) and is great tied to the trailer or in a stall at shows. She has good feet and is an easy keeper.
Circe has been a blast to bring along. She came with some trust issues in the beginning but has worked through that well and has a very sweet personality. She is strong and can be forward so I would recommend and experienced rider.

She has shown some low level eventing recently debuting at beginner novice with a 32.4 and double clear. She schools XC with no issues and goes into stadium bold and brave every time. Recently went to Sedgefield for a weekend in the jumpers with a teen as well.
I could see her continuing with eventing or fox hunting too. She has schooled banks, ditches, water with no hesistation. No maintenance, no special needs. Asking low 5s starting with a 2.

I absolutely love this guy. 12yo registered appendix gelding (registered name is Time Escapes Me) around 17.1h. Has been packing on some calories and starting to be used in my lesson program some. Sadly I don't need another big one right now, otherwise I would keep him! Needs a little more weight and conditioning but He is Such a good guy. More woah than go, adds down the lines and has been on trails. Mebane NC Low 5s.

Ascot Martin is a 13yo 16.3h thoroughbred gelding. He is a very sweet and versatile guy that has been in my program for the last 4 years. He has shown in the low level hunters/jumpers as well as some dressage and eventing.

Has been shown by amateurs but showing has been inconsistent this year due to not having his own person. He has scored in the upper 60s at training level dressage and been through 2'6 at C shows for hunters and jumpers. Ascot has also been on several trails and XC schooling. We adore this horse but he is a little quirky at times. I think he would do best finding his own person. Only available to a great home, we really love this guy. Mid-high 4s.

Buddha boy 2020 gelding

Just look at how cute this coming 4yo is over a few jumps! He’s so smart and brave.

The one everyone has been waiting on…. I adore this guy! Come see him before I decide to finish him for the lesson program! Peppy blue cash - registered AQHA 2018 15/15.1h grey gelding. Super sweet, excellent manners and great disposition. Leg ride, has a very nice start undersaddle with some low level lateral training. Excellent woah. Hacks on trails well. Good with other horses.

Predator 2017 TB gelding

Predator Super smart 6yo gelding FIRST time off property, second time jumping. Such a smart and athletic horse. This guy stands around 16.2h and can go in any direction. Posting this now before I decide to event him a little myself (I do NOT need another one 🥹)!
