Our Story

Purple Dog Rescue (PDR), a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, is founded because of the need in our area for older, senior dogs to have a loving, warm and comfortable place to rest their bones. PDR also exists to help the older people keep their dog as long as wanted. Our mission statement will most likely change slightly as we get to know ourselves but the premise will remain the same.
