More baby fainting goats. EllieMae is a small doe who gave us twin girls on Sat 3/2. Sire is Top of Morning Juliet & Emmy Lou. Born at 3 .2 pounds they are growing like weeds. They sure love to snuggle which is good with being the smallest kids here.

Parting is always hard when you've had a baby goat for a year after it was born. Anastasia (Annie) is leaving for her forever home tomorrow. She'll be so loved. She's one beautiful goat with a champion sire. Maybe someday I'll see her in the show ring? Well due to unforeseen circumstances, I still have Annie for a bit.

Finished show with 8 Reserves Championships and the 1 Grand Reserve was won by Red Ryder.
So 8 first; 8 seconds; 9 thirds and 6 4th. Nice showing for the Rusted Gates. I even sold a few goats! Thank you all who have faith in our breeding. So appreciate you all! Thank you for a great show East Coast Mini Silky Show! It's been fun seeing friends!

RUSTED GATES MINIATURE FAINTING GOATS & OTHER CRITTERS

We are a small hobby farm with a variety of critters. We are offering family farm tours over this Memorial weekend with a few time slots available as well as ongoing tours throughout the summer and fall. Our focus is on nurturing and showing our Miniature Silky Fainting goats as pets/show/breeding. As a matter of fact, we have gained National Recognition when showing in states as far away as Texas or Indiana, VA, MI, OH, MD and PA. In addition to goats, we have various breeds of chickens, bunnies, exotic pigeons, ducks, ponies, a miniature donkey named Festus and a guard dog named Karaka. We are offering a fun, farm, hands on experience/tour of about two hours for your family up to 5-6 kids for a donation of $50 by appointment, so we can give you our undivided attention.

Another option for your child is our birthday parties lasting 2-3 hours where we add several other activities like a pony ride. We try to gear a birthday celebration towards a child's likes. We even have an area where you can bring your own food, cakes etc. Please IM for more information to 717-422-7007 during daylight hours please.
