Cold Laser Therapy for Dogs & Cats
For pets suffering from pain, stiffness or inflammation, Good Hope Animal Hospital offers an affordable and effective treatment - without the use of drugs or surgery!
It’s called Cold Laser Therapy.
Cold laser therapy involves the use of a low-wattage Class IV laser to stimulate cells and encourage a more natural healing process.

• Arthritis
• Joint Pain or Stiffness
• Degenerative Disc Disease
• Chronic Ear Infections or Otitis (Inflammation of The Ear)
• Cystitis (Inflammation of The Bladder)
• Dermatologic (Skin) Problems

Pet Dental Health at Good Hope Animal Hospital
Roughly 85% of all pets have periodontal disease by the time they reach 3 years of age.
Dental damage, decay, and infections can be a serious health threat to your dog or cat. Dental disease can result in bad breath, painful chewing, and tooth loss. And the pain associated with it can dramatically affect your pet’s behavior and personality.
At Good Hope Animal Hospital, our dedicated and continuously educated doctors and technicians aim to provide the highest quality of preventative oral care, as well as treatments for dental issues, periodontal disease, and other issues related to oral health.

Wellness Exams for Dogs and Cats
Just like people, dogs and cats require regular check-ups to maintain optimal health.
Wellness exams are an essential part of our hospital’s focus on preventive care. They help us to identify problems or potential issues early on, before they can become more significant. As a result, we can better prevent minor to potentially life-threatening issues, keep your overall veterinary care expenses down, and help your pet live a long and healthy life.
Regular visits also help us get to know our patients and clients, so we can make more accurate diagnoses and provide more personalized care.

Flea Peristalsis
We snagged some cool footage of a flea under a microscope, digesting its last meal! We don't have much sympathy for fleas, ticks, and other pests or parasites. But it's interesting to evaluate under the microscope, don't you agree?
Winston recovering from surgery very comfortably.
Dr. Berlin and 7 week-old "Bailey" B., taking her Strongid de-worming medication like a champ! Puppies are routinely de-wormed because they are highly susceptible to picking up intestinal parasites. Strongid, one of several de-worming medications we carry on hand, is flavored like bananas and most animals (like little Bailey here!) love the taste! Look at those little lips smackin' :) So cute.
