Shelby has a birthday next month! Dec 17th she’ll be 12! It is difficult to put into words just how much this child helps me with these kittens. She keeps me from losing my mind some days! Steps in to bathe the little ones when they need it, helps with around the clock feeding while she’s on school breaks or weekends, administers meds and insists on going to each meet and greet to have a say on the potential home of the kittens she put so much work into caring for. This child has even wrapped up cuddled and loved on little ones as they are slowly passing. The girls still have no idea that we’re heading to NYC the day after Shelby’s bday! Figured I’d tell her on her actual bday!!
If you would like to send a little birthday message to let her know how valued she is in the cat community - I know it would make her day! 🎉💕🐾

A couple of things need to happen before we can take new kitties - one of which is something pretty big but personal going on in my life right now that we’re working through together but, while we wait - if you’d like to help, our last kitties went to their new homes &
our funds with them haha and now our account needs to fill back up some in funds 👍It worries me taking a new kittens when there’s not much available for vet trips and medications so… please remember we are a nonprofit so you can write this off at the end of the year just message me and ask for the info you would need!! Thanks yall!! Let’s do this!!! I think we’ll start with a $500 goal - of we max - even better!!!!!

Shelby’s 12th bday is Dec 17 🎊💕
From age 4 to almost 12! Shelby has been an UNBELIEVABLE help with this kitten rescue- learning everything from bathing, bottle feeding and medication distribution to tube feeding. She even helps assemble anything donated like cat trees or multi piece toys. In the past - she has gotten such a kick out of our kitty lovers who like to drop her a quick bday message in the mail for her bday 🐾 📪 I’d you’d like to drop a simple bday message - we will collect them and give them to her on her special day! 🤗

Our sweet boy Whiskey made it home safely to his new home - 11 hour car ride EACH way these guys traveled to get this lucky kitty. His owner Heather is so wonderful and her bestie Jess is the one from Maine who adopted two from me in the past. She traveled with her so we can finally meet after the last couple of years going from kitty adopter to an actual friendship. FaceTimes, texts, calls and finally meeting face to face! Only wish I could have gotten the initial meeting on video. 💕🐾 We had a wonderful dinner Friday night and explored Colonial Williamsburg on Saturday followed by hotel pool time for the kids and Facebook live and kitty play Sat night. So thrilled you guys made this weekend trip to come see us and adopt this miracle baby - Whiskey!
