Reed Training and Sales at Stillmeadows Farm Reed Training and Sales at Stillmeadows Farm is located in Mechanicsville, VA, minutes from downtown Ashland, Richmond, and Short Pump. Our new website is live!

We offer riding lessons for ages 7 and up, beginner to advanced, as well as boarding, training, sales, and shows. While parts of it are still under construction, you can find information regarding lessons, boarding, shows, summer camp, and more at reedtrainingandsales.com. For lesson information, please email [email protected]. We do our best to respond to emails within 24 hours. Please

note, we are closed on Mondays! Any emails received between Sunday evening and Tuesday morning will be answered as soon as possible on Tuesday. Summer camp information is here! Check our website and Facebook posts for more information. Stillmeadows is proud to have a very successful IEA team at both the Middle and High School level. We will head to IEA Regionals in the middle of March with our Middle School team, High School team, and 18 individual riders! Watch for updates after that show. We are also the home to the Equestrian Team of VCU's IHSA team. Unfortunately, we were unable to show this season due to COVID, but we look forward to being back next season! We currently have a great group of horses and riders showing in Ocala, Florida at both HITS and WEC. Stay tuned for results as we enter our 6th week of showing for the winter. We also have several sale horses available. Please let us know if you are looking for something, and we will let you know if we have a horse that might suit your needs. Blue ribbons on classic day! Our riders wrapped up 2 weeks at WEC Ocala Summer Series with three classic wins. Congratulations to all of our riders but highlighting our classic winners here:
Davis and Bryn Taran Laurel, winners of the Novice Junior Jumper Classic and Champion of the division
Mia and Rich Girl, winners of the Children’s Hunter Classic and Reserve Champion of the division
Addison and Goliath, with the only double clear round, winners of the 1.40 Jumper Classic and Champion of the division

Looking forward to a couple weeks at home with CHSA and CVSJA, then it’s off to Lexington and Culpeper to wrap up the summer schedule!

Yellow highlights are classes that currently will not fill and don’t have an option to combine with.
Long Stirrup will run with fewer than 3 entries since it isn’t a CHSA recognized division.
If we get one more Children’s Pony Equitation rider we will be able to split the Child/AA Eq and Children’s Pony Eq class.
We will continue to take entries through Friday with no late fee.

Friday schooling will open at 10:00 and close at 6:00. Saturday morning open schooling will be open from 7:00 - 8:00. Short/Long Stirrup schooling will be open from 8:00-8:30. There will be NO schooling break between Long Stirrup and Special Hunter. There WILL be the regular schooling break between Children’s Pony Hunter and Schooling Hunter.
