We offer riding lessons for ages 7 and up, beginner to advanced, as well as boarding, training, sales, and shows. While parts of it are still under construction, you can find information regarding lessons, boarding, shows, summer camp, and more at reedtrainingandsales.com. For lesson information, please email [email protected]. We do our best to respond to emails within 24 hours. Please
note, we are closed on Mondays! Any emails received between Sunday evening and Tuesday morning will be answered as soon as possible on Tuesday. Summer camp information is here! Check our website and Facebook posts for more information. Stillmeadows is proud to have a very successful IEA team at both the Middle and High School level. We will head to IEA Regionals in the middle of March with our Middle School team, High School team, and 18 individual riders! Watch for updates after that show. We are also the home to the Equestrian Team of VCU's IHSA team. Unfortunately, we were unable to show this season due to COVID, but we look forward to being back next season! We currently have a great group of horses and riders showing in Ocala, Florida at both HITS and WEC. Stay tuned for results as we enter our 6th week of showing for the winter. We also have several sale horses available. Please let us know if you are looking for something, and we will let you know if we have a horse that might suit your needs. Update on numbers for tomorrow! Note a small change in the order of classes, putting the junior/pony pleasure before the Younger and Older Children’s Eq on the Flat to allow for time for a horse swap. We look forward to seeing everyone

Numbers for our CHSA show 6-8-24 as of Wednesday mid-day!
A few notes:
We will run the pre-short stirrup even with only 1 entry, but would happily take more in the class
We need at least one more TB/Green/Open horse
We need at least one more Green or Regular Pony Hunter
We will take entries until Friday. Changes to already entered horses are accepted on Saturday. There is no scratch fee if you pre enter and can’t make it on Saturday, just please let us know if you aren’t coming.
Schooling on Friday will be available from 9:00AM-11:00 AM, and 2:00PM - 6:00PM. We have summer camp going on and the campers have their weekly show in the middle of the day.

It was a good week for Addison at Lexington Spring Premiere!
Addison and Goliath were the winners of Thursday’s Open Welcome Stake. Addison also finished 3rd with Keina (Sanmar Farm), 4th with Kletcher, and 11th with Doc di Villigana.
On Saturday night, Addison was the winner of the Rockbridge Grand Prix, this time with Sanmar Farm’s Keina. Kletcher finished 3rd, Doc di Villigana finished 4th, and Goliath finished 6th.
Congratulations Addison! We will share more results from the week soon!

Keeping it in the family (again!). Charlie and Davis had a blast together at WEC Ocala again this year.
Charlie and Fernandina earned a Reserve Champion in the .80 Junior/Amateur Jumpers and successfully moved up to the .90 Novice Amateur jumpers
Davis and EKF Make Me Blush made their Medium Green Pony Hunter debut, with good trips and a third in the under saddle!
Davis also had the opportunity to catch ride two different ponies during her two trips to WEC, including a Large Children’s pony hunter and “Monsters Inc” who earned a blue ribbon in the .65 Jr/Am jumpers with Davis!

Grace and Joki de Boerendans were able to join the fun in Ocala for two weeks this year, jumping right back into their winning ways with a win and a third place in the 1.25 Junior/Amateur Jumper Classics, a Championship in the 1.20 Junior Jumpers, and a double clear and 2nd place finish in their first 1.30 class together! Great work Grace and Joki!

Blue runs in the family! Cullen and Avery made the most of their time in Ocala this winter with their fantastic crew of horses.
Cullen earned tricolors and classic ribbons in the Low, Medium, and High Amateur jumpers with Incognito, Oscar’s Afterparty, and Gerry Butler.
Avery began a new partnership with Imperio this winter, and immediately clicked in the show ring, earning Championships in the Short Stirrup divisions to start the circuit before moving up to the Low Children’s Hunters. Avery and Imperio finished twelfth in the $10,000 WEC Non-Pro Children’s 2’6 Derby during Week 12, in only their second week at 2’6 together!

Today officially marks the final day of showing at WEC Ocala 2024, and starts our circuit wrap ups!
First up, huge congratulations to Felicia and her two horses, Quidambar Van de Vondel and First Lady Van de Kranenburg on a successful circuit! Qbar and Felicia finished as Circuit Champions of the .80 Jr/Am Jumpers and Reserve Champion of the .80 Open Jumpers with helpful rides from Sulu and Addison as well. Lady and Felicia had consistent rounds and good ribbons in the .85 Jumpers as well. Congratulations Felicia!
(PS, today is Felicia’s birthday! Be sure to wish her a happy birthday if you see her! 🎂)

WEC Futures Prix possibly the worst class I have ever seen. I do not blame the course designer or the footing. I blame American greed and instant gratification society, these horses deserve better riders.

IEA Zones wrap up! Congratulations to all of our riders on excellent riding this weekend, and especially to Olivia L on qualifying for Nationals in Varsity Intermediate Over Fences!
We also only have one more week of showing at WEC Ocala for the winter, so be on the lookout for circuit wrap ups!

Huge congratulations to all of our riders who showed at Regionals today! Everyone rode wonderfully, and our Middle School team finished as champions, heading to Zones! Also heading to Zones are Mallory B and Olivia L as individuals. Thank you to Virginia Tech for hosting the show and all horse providers who generously loaned us their horses, as well as to all the manpower that it took to organize and run the show!
