Youth Camp 2026 is officially in the books! 🐴☀️
What a week it has been.
From herd observations and hands-on learning to problem-solving, communication, and building confidence, these campers showed up each day ready to learn, grow, and challenge themselves. Along the way, they discovered that sometimes the biggest lessons come from slowing down, paying attention, and being present in the moment.
One of our favorite moments this week was watching the herd choose to engage. As the campers relaxed on the hay, journaling and observing, the horses quietly made their way over—curious, calm, and wanting to be part of the experience. No one asked them to. No one forced the interaction. It was simply a reminder that connection cannot be demanded; it is invited.
“Horses are very similar to humans when it comes to how they respond to anger, trust, and boundaries.”
— Layla, Camper
A huge thank you to our volunteers, families, and, of course, our incredible herd for helping make this week possible. The horses continue to be amazing partners in creating meaningful learning experiences.
We are proud of every camper who stepped outside their comfort zone, tried something new, and embraced the week with an open mind.
Until next time, keep learning, keep growing, and keep moving forward. ❤️
