You gotta check out Mr. Onyx working around Laika today! He’s learning to have a different mindset around other dogs and it shows! He’s choosing to take his focus off his trigger and rather focus on his handler! This is HUGE for Onyx who has previously shown us a very intense level of fixation on other dogs since coming to us. We hope exercises like this will only continue to get less stressful for Onyx as he puts more and more trust in his handlers! So proud of this guy! 👏❤️

Gunnar is a big boy, and though he’s a friendly guy, he doesn’t like having his nails done and has had to be sedated in the past! Muzzle conditioning will help out with those pesky nail trims for everyone involved! We take this process slowly as to only make positive associations with wearing the muzzle. Here’s a short look at one of his introduction sessions!

Onyx is getting into the swing of things! One of our biggest goals for him is showing him how to self soothe and calm down on his own! He’s making progress every day! Check him out getting introduced to the Heather's Heroes Sidekick leash as well! He did SO well! Way to go, Onyx!
