We are with such heavy hearts tonight as we had no idea our week would end like this. Today, we had to say goodbye to our Luca...the Bazooka, Dumptruck. Without getting into a lot of detail, it was spleen issue that came on quick. He was making it around on his own hopping in and out of the car however, it wasn't the same even when you looked at his physique. We took him to the urgent care where through a sonogram, bloodwork and xrays, our fears were confirmed. He was lucky though, there was a Cookout right next door. We never gave him people food yet, he big time deserved this burger as we said our goodbyes.

Luca. You were an amazing animal, an ambassador for the breed. You were high drive, trained in bite and protection yet, there was another side to that coin. When you weren't working/training, you had the most sweetest and gentle demeanor around new folks and friends - even gentler around the most vulnerable among us. I knew when I was away, you were in the bed with Stephanie facing the door the whole time. Every dog is special in their own right however, because of Luca's abilities and his balance, he was on top of the world.

Thank you Luca for ten years of fun, loyalty and dedication. We love you and we will see you again❤️💙💔😭

Say hello to Helen! This pretty girl is super sweet, and yes, Helen only has one eye. She loves life and has a lot of energy. Helen arrived today to learn polite leash manners, to keep all four on the floor, and overall solid obedience.

Another proofing field trip for Milo! We visited our good friends at Freedom Services😂. We used their counters as barriers when he would meet the staff. His tail was going crazy and he let out a couple barks in excitement (we let that slip)😊. Every good interaction was marked and rewarded💪

Willow is already starting to respond to our leadership. He used to give his owners a very hard time on walks, due to his extreme dog reactivity. I'd say he's making good progress!

Greatful Mia's family was on board for an additional week💪. It definitely helped in terms of adding to her confidence. She had some great fun today practicing for off leash while dragging her long line😊

More proofing with Milo! Michelle is approaching our fence barrier. Milo is excited as you can see as he sees Stephanie (out of frame) walking Mia😊. Cedar went home yesterday! He did great yet there was an added learning experience. One of the reasons why he was here was reactivity. We barely saw any during his time here. What we saw yesterday was a classic case of minor regression while his owners handled him. But not to worry 😉....improvise, adapt and overcome! We were able to redirect Cedar while walking him with a favorite small toy! He was rewarded with it after passing the distraction without reaction💪. Go Cedar!

Hello Willow!! This almost 1 year old, handsome Golden arrived today to work on all things puppy. He has a bad case of counter surfing and barks/lunges at other dogs on leash. Willow will be working on all solid recall as well!
