We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Shelby Morton to our team! She joined us at the beginning of July, and many of you may have already seen her around the clinic. A Mechanicsville native, she completed her undergraduate degree at James Madison University in 2021 before earning her DVM from Virginia Tech in 2025. Dr. Morton has a special passion for dentistry, preventative care, and soft tissue surgery. When she’s not caring for patients, you can find her on the tennis or pickleball court, hitting the trails for a hike, or enjoying a local brewery. She shares her life with two beloved pets—her golden retriever, Nelli, and her tabby cat, Moose.

She’s already been a fantastic addition to the team, and we know you’ll love getting to know her just as much as we have.
