Here’s one of my newest addition(s) : Clyde. He also has a mate named Bonnie… he’s a short tail possum. I’m still learning about them but I want to document my journey and share with you guys!

Did you know…

Opossums are not the same thing as possums. Opossums range from North America to southern Argentina and contain 15 genera with over 60 species. Possums are found in Australia with over 20 species. They are all marsupials, but opossums and possums are only distantly related within the same subclass.

Here is a new pickup from today. We drive three hours to go get him. He is a stunner and I’m so excited to start working with boas! I’m unsure if the morph though!

We have a new rescue here at finding reptiles! The lady claimed that he was aggressive and she was scared to handle him, which makes me very upset because this boy has been an absolute sweetheart so far. I can’t wait to see his weight progression 🥰
