Welcome to Tried & True German Shepherds. We are a small family owned breeder who takes great pride in our pups! And have been well socialized.

We currently have 2 beautiful German Shepherds, Loki(Sire) & Freya (Dam). Our dogs are embark health & DNA tested and both DM Clear. Family raised around kids as well as other dogs and cats. They are part of our family and live in the home with us & our children! Let's introduce you to our pup family! Loki(Sire)

Loki is a stock coat shepherd who is medium to high drive. He aims to do nothing shor

t of pleasing his people. His favorite thing in the world is playing fetch and get belly rubs! He has graduated from obidiance training. Unfortantly when we got Loki we never recieved AKC papers for him. However he has been cleared of over 200+ genetic conditions and is 100% German Shepherd through DNA & Health analysis from Embark. Freya(Dam)

Freya is a long coat shepherd who is low to medium drive. She is an attention diva and LOVES to please. She has the kindest heart and is very well mannered. Freya is AKC registered and comes from parents who are extreamly chill and also great with kids and other pets! She has been cleared of over 200+ genetic conditions and is 100% German Shepherd through DNA and Health analysis from Embark.

Athena's in heat but we are not breeding her till her next heat cycle. I took her away from Loki and am not allowing him to come in here. This is his reaction🤣(he is talking ever time his mouth opens its just a little hard to hear with the pellet stove going.)

Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes for our miss Freya! Surgery went well and she is doing good! The vet is monitoring her until this afternoon. She gets to come home tonight though!🙂

Please pray for Freya as she goes in for emergency surgery! ❤ unfortunately due to this surgery and us putting her health first Freya will no longer be part of our breeding. 😥 We will do whatever is necessary for our dogs though and always put their health front and center.

STAY TUNE FOR LOKI AND ATHENA Pups in the future though! They are still an excellent Pairing and I have no doubt their pups will be just as smart and beautiful as Freya and Loki's litter!🥰

Due to some unforseen health issues when we received this lady back, she is no longer available for immediate placement. As much as this breaks our hearts that she will have to wait a little longer before she can start loving on her forever family, we need to take care of her and get her back in tip top shape before she will be ready! Please feel free to still reachout if you are interested! You can still do a meet and greet, however we hope you understand her health is #1 most important to us and we cannot under any circumstances let her leave before she is cleared!

Heath issues include severe flea infestation & Underweight. Nothing long term! ❤
