Halloween is just around the corner, help keep your cat safe this year with a few of these Halloween safety tips!
🏠 The noise and chaos of Halloween can be overwhelming. Keep your cat inside to avoid them getting scared or running away.
🍫Chocolate and artificial sweeteners like xylitol are toxic to cats. Make sure all candy and wrappers are stored well out of reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.
🕯️ Cats love to explore, so be mindful of electrical cords, candles, and small decorations that can be hazardous. Opt for battery-operated candles to avoid accidental burns or fires.
😻 If you dress up your cat, make sure the costume doesn’t restrict movement, breathing, or vision. Avoid costumes with small parts that could become choking hazards.
🐾 In case your cat does manage to slip out, ensure their collar has up-to-date ID tags, and their microchip info is current.
October 10th is World Mental Health Day.
Caring for our mental health is just as important as caring for our physical health. In our busy lives, it’s easy to overlook the toll that stress, emotions, and daily pressures can take on our well-being. But prioritizing our mental health is crucial for leading a balanced and fulfilling life.
On this World Mental Health Day, let’s take a moment to focus on ourselves and those around us. If you or someone you know is struggling, remember that it’s okay to ask for help 🫶
