Our ASHLAND location is currently without power... The power crews are working hard to restore it, but in the meantime we are doing what we can to take care of you!

We are doing cards the old fashioned way, but "tap to pay" is disabled at this time (sorry!)

Cash and check are best, but we can take care of you no matter what!

Estimated time of power restoration is 2pm, and we will remain open through the outage to take care of our customers and community! 🐾❤️

Synthetic vitamins and minerals are commonly put in pet food in order to ensure that highly processed or poorly formulated products can meet nutritional minimums. Unfortunately, isolate ingredients cause their own problems and don't necessarily work as intended.

Like all foods, vitamins and minerals function within a complex of other nutrients, many of which we haven't even discovered yet. To assume that isolated nutrients - individual parts of whole foods that are removed for targeted use - can fill in every nutritional gap, creating a "complete diet", is very irresponsible in light of the data. To assume that there are no harmful side effects to overloading on these chemically derived isolates is also irresponsible.

We feel that we have a responsibility to uphold the nutritional integrity of our foods for the sake of not only our pets, but also for our planet. The energy intensive processes by which isolates are derived and the corn field economy that they fuel deplete ecosystems at an astonishing rate. For health and longevity, we will not use synthetic nutrients in any of our foods.

We don’t carry any “feed” such as this in our stores… but this is very important information to share. TOO MANY Pet Parents do use PURINA and other pet “feed” manufacturers that have common ingredient providers. Please… read this warning. IF YOUR PET is exhibiting any of these symptoms contact your Veterinary Services immediately!

This began with a significant rise in consumer reports of sick pets eating Purina pet food. We are now seeing the same alarming symptoms across multiple brands of pet food. This has happened previously when there was contamination at the supplier level which multiple brands purchase from. If your pet is exhibiting these symptoms. STOP THE FOOD IMMEDIATELY. Save the pet food. Do NOT release it to the manufacturer in any circumstances.

Contact your vet and request a copy of your pets medical records. Ask the vet to report your concerns to the pet food company.

Report it to the pet food company. Do NOT agree to send them the food. If you feel compelled to do so, only send a small portion. Keep the rest of the food in the freezer. Do NOT send the medical records to the pet food company. Document your conversation with the pet food company.

The pet food company may eventually say they will pay your vet bills and reimburse you for your pet food. If you agree to this they will ask you to sign a form which will prohibit you from taking legal action. Eventually, if there is a class action lawsuit you will be unable to join if you do this or if you want to file your own lawsuit.
