Cane is an eight week old, male, Shepherd Cross. He is the last puppy to be adopted from our Christmas litter. He has a great temperament, especially for a puppy his age. The staff and volunteers of the Hinton SPCA would like to wish Colton a very happy 11th Birthday!
Sometimes the universe has a way of working things out… Colton is a big animal lover and had been asking for a small critter friend to call his own for a while.
We just happened to post Sven to our page on his Birthday. The post was up for less than 10 minutes before Colton’s mother, Wendy called saying she would be happy to give Sven his forever home and make Colton’s birthday extra special!
So congratulations to both Colton and Sven we know you will be great buddies!

Brittani reached out to us with the fun idea of sponsoring a shopping spree for one of our residents at Petvalu. We decided Marty would be the lucky dog to help us pick out what we need. Thanks to AFD’s generosity Marty was able to select dog food, cat food, toys, treats, supplements and more. If you follow our page you know we have a lot of mouths to feed right now and it’s because of community minded companies like AFD we are able to do what we do for our rescue animals.
