Help needed for wobbly cat found last night. 😿
This poor lil calico was seen wobbling trying to walk as best she can as I drove down a street. I pulled over & got out a trap & wet food. I kept her attention by talking to her but not looking at her & shaking a dry food container. I quickly set the trap and threw a lil wet food her way back handed while still not looking at her. I then sprinkled a lil dry in the trap from the container as she watched. I went back to my car to hide from her & she quickly went to the trap. She went in and ate a lil food but backed out. I got my phone & recorded this lil bit after she circled the trap trying to get the food in dish in back & in she went.
Today at a S/N clinic they say she can’t be fixed and has an URI. I didn’t see that when I set her up with food & water last night. I know she did bang around in the trap when I went to cover her & put my hands on the trap talking to her softly to calm down before picking her up to put in my car.
What I saw was a wobbly cat who fell over in the trap after setting up.
Now she needs help to see a vet to diagnose her condition and get treatment.
Please help this poor kitty get the care she needs.
I have a video of trapping you can see her back legs going up like a marching soldier that’s not how cats walk. They put 1 foot in front of the other kinda like a runway model that’s why they call it a “Cat walk”. lol

Today’s trapping I selectively caught 3 females.
Some times I amaze myself & wish I had a cameraman to record how I do it. 🎥
I wanted to get the females first so no kittens wud be born there. They need time to recover & grow fur back on their belly’s when it’s cold in winter. 😿
I was asked to help an older lady with cats in her yard. When I went to check out the situation I looked for who was male or female. Then a lil orange kitten came running over so that was priority. 🐈 I think it’s a female.
Within minutes I got the kitten in the trap and used the bottle tied to string.
Next the teenager Tabbyco wanted the wet food so she went in and set off the door.
It wasn’t that easy I had to keep occupying the males cus they kept going in the trap or eating the trail of wet food. I had to sprinkle a lil dry & put a spoonful of wet on top of it for each male when they were interested in eating or trying to go in the trap. So if you feed them they won’t go for your trap, well not as much. I did catch 2 males but let them right out & gave them wet food so they wud forgive me. lol 🐈‍⬛🐈
Next was the big mom cat calico.. she was not staying in the yard or eating the bits of food I was placing around on the ground. So she was hungry, even checking out the birds & squirrels.. 🐦‍⬛ 🐿️ She took the longest to get and I had to move the trap 5 times. I told her I had some tuna & shrimp that was better than bird or squirrel.
Finally she smelt the bate & ate a couple pieces around the outside then went in the trap. 🪤
Oh I was praying too while watching her from the front of the house hiding behind a bush.. lol
The things we have to do to outsmart a cat.. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣
The kitten will go into foster care after clinic tomorrow with our friend Robin, then get adopted out by our FOBCAS/Hissy Hut. 🐈😻

The 3 friendly kitties were trapped and went to find homes. The hurt kitty was fixed and treated.🐈‍⬛🥰
The orange female was being jumped by a male when I went looking for her so thank God I got her. 😿🐈🙏🏻 Her brother is the wht/blk kitty.

Yesterday I got the call early morning that the hurt cat was at the feeding area so I rushed over but he was leaving. I followed him & called to him with shaking a container of dry food & popping a can of wet food. He stopped so I set the trap & after a couple attempts he went in.
A lil orange kitty was around with him so I had to distract it to get him to go to the trap.
The orange kitty will get trapped when I have appts again.
The black cats leg is draining, the swelling is down so I started him on antibiotic & pain meds.
He will be going to clinic Tues if he doesn’t have any issues before then. 🙏🏻🐈‍⬛
I set him up in a cage to be comfortable cus he’s friendly & allowing petting. 😻❤️🐈‍⬛
He’s eating and used the litter over night.

Update: Venus was admitted to Mt LAH,
testing showed she has a slow moving digestive tract, no fluid and negative for Panleuk. With that good news she will be treated and hopefully feeling better soon. Prayers work so please continue them.

I was asked to help trap cats at a truck lot.
When I got there I saw kittens and was told the Siamese was the mom & had 3 litters since showing up a yr ago.
That’s not good especially in a yard where trucks go in & out all day. Several were run over others are running around trying to dodge them.
I trapped momma & her baby the first day then her 2 small kittens the following days.
Mom & kitten were taken in by our FOBCAS/Hissy Hut after going to clinic.
Momma is named Venus & the baby is Star.
Both looked healthy and ate the food given.
The next day I saw mom and her belly was distended. I notified Karleen who got her seen by a vet right away. Bloodwork & X-ray were ordered. Her bldwrk showed elevated WBC but the X-ray didn’t show any fluid which was good.
She was started on antibiotic & pain meds to make her comfortable.
She then became sicker with diarrhea and was treated for that and the antibiotic stopped.
Testing was redone and now her globulins were high and her WBC was ok. She is not feeling well and in pain.
Now an ultrasound is needed to see what is causing the bloating and pain.
Please help us pay for this important testing so we can find out what’s going on with momma cat and treat her.

I can also Friends of Burlington County Animal Shelterk for the HH.
They need at least $1000.

Today’s Rescue was a relative of Punxsutawney Phil. We believe he had a broken leg he got himself up against the light post out of the snow so I was notified that he looked like he was dying so of course I had to go around and get him into a box and get him in my car. Get him a little warm, and Animal Control picked him up from me. Hopefully he went to the rehab. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I was out looking for a hurt cat and I heard it’s paw and leg is all swollen and it’s limping and holding the front paw up. It came to the feeder but then ran off when somebody scared it or probably limp away. Been looking for the poor cat all afternoon , hopefully you find somewhere to hide for the night.. 😿💔

I was determined to trap the last sibling of the Siamese today so they can all be together. 😻
The feeder texted me around 11:30am that he saw the kitten come out to the feeding dishes that were empty cus I planned to trap. I got the trap & food ready and headed over. It took a lil bit of time and it was snowing lightly but it came out to eat with the other 2 adult cats. I had given them very lil dry food to keep them away from the trap. They must have eaten it cus the kitten checked it out then went right in the trap on the other side where I had it set. Thank God cus I was praying for it to go in. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🐈‍⬛
This morning I had taken the kitten from yesterday to set up for clinic tomorrow to our Hissy Hut and to see its sibling & mom.
When I check on mom cat I noticed her belly was distended and notified our director Karleen.
I sent her pictures so she cud see what I was referring to. She was at work and contacted the medical person to go over and the decision was made to have her seen by the vet today.
Mom cat was given an X-ray and bloodwork.
The vet said she noticed she had some pain when examined & saw food in the belly no fluid in chest or lungs so that’s good but her wbc is a lil elevated. 😿
She was put on antibiotic and pain medicine and will be closely monitored for now.
Please pray for mom cat.. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Our handsome, playful Snuffy is still looking for a home. He has been at our FOBCAS/Hissy Hut since I found him in Oct. He had to go through several antibiotics and eye ointment but he is a crazy, fun kitten who loves attention.. He’s all boy and orange kitten purrsonality so you’ll never have a dull moment unless he’s sleeping if you adopt this lil guy.. 😻🐈❤️🙏🏻
Please help Snuffy find a furever home soon. 🙏🏻

Today I caught 1 of the black kittens 🐈‍⬛ from the Siamese mom cat. I kept waiting for the other kitten but it was to windy which was scaring it so it wouldn’t come out from under the big metal pods. I saw 2 adult black cats and a marble tabby that also need to get TNR’d. 🪤
Momma and baby Meezer’s may be taken in by our FOBCAS/Hissy Hut to find homes. 😻🩵
They were both fixed, vaccinated and momma tested negative. 😻
Hopefully her 2 black kittens will be friendly or workable to have a chance to find homes as well. 🙏🏻 They can’t go back to the truck yard it’s not safe for them. 😿
Please pray I can caught the other kitten tomorrow it’s gone to be colder & more snow coming.. 🌧️☃️

First thing this morning when I turned on my phone, there was a message from one of the guys at Conrail train yard in Camden that when the guys came in at 6 AM this morning they found a metal dog cage with three cats locked inside of it, covered with a trash bag outside of their gate area on the dead end street side where people tend to throw trash.
Thanks to God the cats were still alive, but very cold. They had pooped in the cage and that was frozen solid, bowls in there were empty but to leave Cats in 20° weather last night in the cold or whatever time they left them is cruel and inhumane.. 😿💔😡
One of the guys immediately picked up the whole cage, put it in his truck and brought it to his office, got the cats warmed up, cleaned their cage out and fed them. I instructed him on what to do next, and Animal Control just arrived and pick the cats up, they will be going to the shelter to be checked over, scanned for any chips which they probably don’t have & they’re probably not fixed either.
It’s unfortunate that people don’t do things the proper way and try to harm animals. They could’ve froze to death. Thank God an Angel was watching over them. The cats are friendly so if anybody’s interested in adopting them, please leave a comment or contact Homeward Bound Shelter where they were taken. 🙏🏻😻

Yesterday I arranged to meet with a feeder and his friend who helps cats. After seeing the truck yard and how hungry the cats were I decided to trap. The lil Siamese was the most skidish so I decided to trap it first. The 2 black kitten were fine with coming out to eat. Then a neighbor on the corner came over and told us how the Siamese mom cat kept having litters of kittens. When she showed up I made it a point to trap her and got her. The lil black kittens kept eating and 1 would easily go into a trap the other is a lil skidish. Unfortunately I only had 2 traps and 2 clinic appointments. I will be going back today to try and get the kittens out of that yard. Then work on TNR of the other cats there.
