Zuko 💞
Yesterday we said goodbye to an incredible dog and best friend, Zuko. This is part of one of the amazing videos his dad made of Zuko and his daughter Scooch, along with his other dog Boo and kitty Sukie. I cared for Zuko for many years and will really miss him, but am thankful he is at peace now ❤️
Anyone else’s dogs following them around making eye contact 👀 with the dog food bin since 2pm?? #daylightsavings
Doing the sock shuffle! 🎶
This handsome boy has a small sore under his dewclaw, so we are trying meds and a sock to block licking > cone of shame first…with the main side effect of sock-wearing being sudden 3-legged lameness 😉
Hope you feel better quickly Coop!
When you’ve been at the gym for an hour…

I love this idea - Lucy’s dedicated owners made this sandpaper board and taught her how to “scratch” to file her nails down. It is a daily routine they have, which allows her to avoid the stress of nail trims 🐾
Hear that sound? Me neither! The click-clack of nails that are too long had been going on in my house for awhile. My dogs really dislike having their nails trimmed so I sometimes avoid it. Switching up the routine helps them - I have smeared peanut butter on the dryer (easy surface to clean) to distract them while they lick it up, have put their harnesses and leashes on, have tried trimming them in different rooms and outside. Sometimes they are standing, sometimes I try with them laying down. We take breaks and they get lots of treats. And I always go crazy with praise and more treats when they are done! 🐾
