Meet Nikko, one of the technicians at Town and Country! Nikko (He/Him) grew up in Downingtown, PA and graduated from Downingtown West High School in 2018. Growing up, his family fostered animals from All 4 Paws and he eventually began working as a kennel/adoption counselor at Brandywine Valley SPCA. A year later, Nikko moved to the clinic in Malvern and worked as a technician, eventually transitioning to surgery. Nikko joined TCVH in January 2022 and lives in Brookhaven with his fiancée, four cats (Lilly, Mazey, Frankie, and Timmy), his dog Luna and three lizards (Nugget, Freya, Duckie).

Dear Town and Country Friends and Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of our beloved Kathy. She was a committed member of our hospital for over 20 years. Most of you remember her as the main front desk receptionist, but to us she was our “hospital mom”. Although she will be greatly missed, we are in peace knowing that she is no longer suffering.

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition of the joints in which the normal cartilage in the joints breaks down. Osteoarthritis continues to get worse over time, however it can be managed so that the progress of the disease is slowed down. We recently started carrying Solensia in our hospital, which is a monthly injection to control the pain of osteoarthritis. Solensia will help improve their mobility, comfort, and well-being.

Meet Lena! Lena is one of the technicians at Town and Country. Lena is an undergraduate student at the University of Delaware. she plans to graduate with a B.S. in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and attend veterinary school. Lena has always had a love of animals and joined TCVH in June 2021. In the future she hopes to work at Disney's Animal Kingdom. In her free time, Lena loves reading, hanging out with friends, and playing with her dogs, Koda and Meadow and her cats Pesto and Basil.

Meet Sarah! One of the receptionists at T&C. Sarah has been working at Town and Country since 2019. She started as a kennel attendant and now works as a receptionist at the front desk. She has a degree from Temple University in History, and is currently earning her graduate certificate in Information Science and Technology, also at Temple. She loves working with animals, and spends lots of time hanging out with her big orange cat, Carl. She hopes to continue working with animals at Town and Country, and adopting lots more pets in the future.

Mimi is a beautiful, 12 year old Ragdoll who's owner will be moving to assisted living on Friday. Mimi has hyperthyroid disease, which has been managed with medications, but is otherwise a healthy and happy cat. She needs to find a new home in the next 48 hours - please contact our hospital if you are interested!

Meet Natalie! One of the techicians at Town & Country. Natalie is a recent graduate of Swarthmore college and has enjoyed working for Town & Country part time since August 2019. After completing her undergraduate degree in chemistry, she plans to attend veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania next fall. In her free time, Natalie loves playing the viola, hanging with friends, and playing with her cockapoo, Maisy!
