Keever Suffolks

Keever Suffolks Keever Suffolks is located in West Central Illinois about 20 minutes east of the Mississippi River.

Our registered flock of Suffolk sheep have a heavy influence of Luxford and Pleasant Valley genetics. We currently run about 25 brood ewes and our two main stud rams are "I'll Have Another" Luxford 13-1409B and "Warhorse" Dreher 1-1526. Our flock is steeped in a lot of Luxford and Pleasant Valley bloodlines. We welcome visitors to the farm at any time and usually have sheep for sale.

It was another good week in Sedalia last week. It was a deep set of Suffolks this year for the NASSS National Suffolk Sale. As always big thanks goes out to Andrew Slack, Colby Tool, and Tommy Slack for all of the fitting of our consignment. Also thanks to all of the lovely young ladies that they somehow continue to coax into helping year after year with fitting and showing. They all worked their tails off all week and made the sheep look their best. Thank you also to all of the bidders and buyers of our sheep we are humbled by your belief in our breeding program. Good luck with your purchases. Last but not least special thanks to Kip K***z for taking us with to see a Kansas City Royals baseball game.

Had a chance to get some sheep cut out Tuesday. Thanks to Andrew Slack for making the trip down and working on them. Our Midwest Sale Consignment will come out of this group. We are just not quite sure who will make the trip to Sedalia yet. Check back over the next few days as we will continue to add some photos and information.
