We have been getting a lot of questions lately about whether or not we make house/farm visits. The answer is yes, we most absolutely do! In fact, it is one of everyone's favorite things to do! Give us a call at 509-299-3675 when you need a vet but can't make it out to us. We do not only serve the Medical Lake community but all the surrounding areas as well. 🛻🩺👩‍⚕️

❣️We are now offering Happy Visits!!❣️

Do you have a pet that is anxious when they come to the vet? Or maybe just a puppy who needs more socializing? Call us today at 509-299-3675 to schedule your happy visit.

What's included? Happy visits include walking around the lobby, putting your pet on the scale. Various staff members saying hi as they walk by. These visits cost nothing.

However for $5 we can put your pet in an exam room and have a staff member or two come in to get them used to exams with a doctor. These will be quick visits, no more than 5-10 minutes so we don't stress them out too much.

As we gather to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends, let's not forget our furry companions! Here are some tips to keep your pets safe and calm during the festivities:

🎆Create a Safe Space: Make sure your pets have a quiet, comfortable place to retreat away from the noise.

🐶Keep Them Indoors: Fireworks can be frightening for pets. Keep them indoors and secure windows and doors.

🐱Update ID Tags: Ensure your pets' ID tags and microchip information are up to date, just in case they get scared and run off.

🎇Avoid Fireworks: Never use fireworks around pets. They can cause severe burns and trauma.

🌭Watch the BBQ: Be mindful of what your pets eat. Certain foods can be harmful to them.

🐴Secure Fences: Check your fence line and make sure your fence and gates are secure.
