Little Romi is just a week into her Off Leash Ready board & train and she is quickly mastering the art of the sit stay! This “basic” exercise is a great building block for creating some stability (slowing that young brain down a bit!) in your dog 🐶

January is German Shepherd month 📆 here so Romi fits right in (Kidding, but we certainly have a lot of them!).

Romi is a young, energetic, pup here for our Off-Leash Ready board & train where she will be learning:

➡️ Coming when called
➡️ Not to jump on or mouth people
➡️ To control her impulses around counter surfing, doorways, and food
➡️ Proper play to use some of that Shepherd energy for good

Meet little Silvio! Silvio is a GSD puppy is here for the first portion of a Perfect Puppy program, where he spends ten days with us to get a jump start on life’s important basics. Like his namesake, he is a strong willed little guy, so we are thrilled to be starting training early with him and his family!

Teddy is an absolute frat boy 🍻 of a Golden that is living life at full tilt. He’s a sweet boy, but his exuberance was getting him into some trouble at home!

Teddy is here for three-weeks to work on all of the basics and get his family back on track with enjoying life with him instead of dreading taking him out and about!

Meet Maeve 🌺!

Maeve is a young shepherd here because she has been exhibiting some extreme stranger-danger and other fear based behaviors at home that were no longer manageable for her family. She is completing a Behavior Boot Camp with us and then the work of teaching her family how to best meet her needs will begin!

It took us a few days to make friends. But now she’s ready to start to trust me to take her out into the big, sometimes scary, world!

She may never be a social butterfly, but life is about to get so much better for this girlie and all of her big emotions. 💕

Who could resist this big squishy face?

Jax is another alumni dog back for a quick tune up while his family enjoys some fun in the sun ☀️ Jax is a dog that likes to resource guard space and food (did you know space can be a highly valuable resource to dogs?), so we were focused on doing lots of positive muzzle acclimation work this week. This was both for his family’s peace of mind in specific situations but also to mitigate any stress in situations where he may NEED to wear a muzzle.

Right now, he’s a 10/10 very good boy 🥰
