Today officially marks one year from one of the worst owner neglect rescues that we have ever pulled!

It's crazy to think that just one year ago, this giant, goofy horse was literally standing, trapped in a little barn just miles from here, starving to death. He had to watch his buddy simply die only weeks before. Everyone failed these animals.

Today, Merlin is thriving! He has great friends, loves his routine, and has developed into the giant baby he deserves to be.

Seeing what he looked like then is still shocking and it was definitely not an easy journey, but we are thankful to be able to what we do! 🖤
