Quills Daily Ink: My Mum, over 16 years ago made a decision to really watch what her dogs were eating and snacking on. She didn’t like most ingredients in treats and food and it’s why she is so particular today.
She felt she had more control over ingredients if she made the treats herself. Her first 3 dogs Jake, a lab mix, Moe a shepherd mix and, Lucy a whippet mix, were the test subjects.
She became a label reader and started to create the treats your dogs now eat. She started with 12 treats and has grown to over 35 flavors she rotates some seasonal ones but the selection right now in the case is 23 flavors for dogs and 3 flavors for the horses.
She didn’t leave out the kitties, she tried making treats for them but kitties are a wee bit of a tough nut to crack. She does carry, a selection of cat treats and toys, that they will love!
Mum, will always care about the quality of products you see at her shop including toys, food, and treats. It’s part of her why she does this. She is so very grateful to be able to do this job. So, she thanks you very much!
