Quills Daily Ink: Glenda, our alpha girl, oldest senior and Mums favorite. ( who are we kidding, I’m writing this and I am Mums favorite!)

But, let’s get real, Mum on certain days has a rough time watching us all age. We are a houseful of seniors after all.

But, through all the meltdowns, she cherishes every day with us. She says, and you can quote her, each day with us is a gift! I would be wrapped up in pink paper and a pink bow if I was a gift!

So, cherish each day! Make the most of it. Forget about that laundry, cleaning or the yard work. Take time for the moments of your life. Because, before you know it your puppy, kitten, kids will be all grown up and you can’t get those moments back.

Shop is closed today. Mum is going to take some of those moments.💜

Quills daily ink: it’s def as cold as ice, but Mum would never sacrifice our love!

Make sure time outside is brief, it’s way too cold to be out for long, even those dogs that like to sit in a fridge and love the cold.

So far, we will be open, our regular hours. Wednesday, we may close early, but I won’t make that decision until the day of, and will post if I decide to close early.

They hit this one out of the park! Have the leash and collars in 3/4 and 1” wide.

Quills daily Ink: These pics always come up in my memories and I’m forever grateful that they do. While it makes me sad (yes, I’m usually crying when the pics come up,) because you are no longer here and I so wish you were.

Each dog in my life has taught me something or shown me the way. Given me such boundless love and joy.

I will forever be grateful. Each one of you have given me a sign that you still watch over me. So, this is love, I’ll take it. 💜

Quills daily Ink: January is flying and February is just around the corner. So, place your Valentine heart cookie order now!

Don’t know what that is? It’s a large heart shaped cookie, we write your message and you pick the flavor. The one in the pic is Finn’s chocolate dream( no, it’s not real chocolate! Just carob, a safe alternative) but you can pick any flavor we make!

We also will have small shapes all things hearts and flowers!

Quills daily Ink: We are open til 4 today Last day of the Candlelight Walk!

Quills Daily ink: shop is open today til 5. Today, Mum is home with us, wish she had gone to work though. She took me and my dumb brother to the Vet this morning and then to top it off, she gave us a bath! Mum found a tick on Glenda’s eyebrow,still flat, and she went into freak out mode. So, we get a bath, these hot temperatures as of late, a bath is a stress buster, detoxes us, makes us smell clean and fresh and bugs don’t like fresh. She uses a shampoo from the shop that has essential oils that adds back to our coat, does not strip our coat, limited Ingredients, you can even use it. No toxic ingredients! Can be used on your horses as well! We have another shampoo for your kitties. We are all exhausted now and we are having a nap.

Quills Daily Ink:Mum, like most of you when one of your pets crosses the bridge, it’s a crushing blow. We, give so much unconditional love and joy to you in the most purest way. That when we are gone, it’s never easily replaced. Some people can never think to add another pet into their life, the pain of the loss is too great. Others, need to, have that constant companion. Pictures, come up in Mums memories and remind her how much she misses Tegan, Glenda’s sister. The sisters were always together, never apart. Love, keep it coming in on, Mum, never wants to be without the love of a dog.

Brio as a puppy been coming to the shop for 9 years, The labs Gus and Murphy, Mum adores her black lab customers brings back memories of her First dog Jake, Brinkley, was a very good boy and is missed very much, Jake and Lola one of Mums first customers who have crossed the bridge and are so very missed.
