Quills Daily ink: do you believe in signs?

Mum, does, she will talk about them all the time. Her fav sign is a bird sign, either the actual bird or feathers. Feathers, especially if we have crossed the bridge. Because that represents a Angel sign. Uncle Finn, sent her a jar full of feathers. She has kept every single one.

But I digress, on Saturday, Mum was driving home from work, crying about Rocket and saying that he hadn’t sent her a sign. That she knew he was busy, but could he send one.

Sunday afternoon after work, she was looking out onto the deck and noticed a outdoor cabinet door open, she keeps her gardening stuff in it.

she thought it odd, and went out to shut it, and noticed on the deck floor, 2 feathers, and they were blue. Rockets collars throughout his life were always blue. He was Mum’s blue boy.

Signs, they are everywhere, you just have to ask for them, and pay attention.

May your guardian angels send you a sign when you need it.

Quills Daily Ink

Mum, Glenda, Uma and I want to thank everyone who posted kind words regarding our brother Rocket. We miss him very much. A def hole is in our pack and it’s going to be awhile before we get our balance back.

Mum wanted to say he crossed the bridge at home with the help of Gentle fairwell.
Dr. Lisa came to the house, she and her team were very kind and Rocket was surrounded by love and at home. Uma, Mum and I sat with him as he crossed the bridge.

Essential oils Mum used to support, Palo Santo in the diffuser, applied Frankincense and divine release topically.

Today is July 4th, the shop is closed.
Please be considerate if you are shooting off fireworks, not everyone likes them and most animals are frightened.

9/15/15- 7/2/25 Lyonhil Vigilant call name Rocket
My Rocket man, my little boy blue, you picked me, and I’m so glad you did. Your silly boy ways, I’m not sure I can live without. But, I’m going to have to try. I’m going to miss, Your 110 body slams, your snuggles, your zest for life,for your toys and food and your love of me.

I’ve been so blessed to have you in my life. Please wait for me at the bridge. Tell the others I love and miss them too. Love you bunches my Rocket Man. I’m so going to miss you. Sissy will too.

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind always be at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, May the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

I just read something today, the person was talking about glimmers, and it hit hard for me.
I have 4 seniors and each day I see glimmers, glimmers of the puppies they were, the adult dogs full of life and now , the seniors, who are not eating like they used to, or walking as far or chasing that rabbit with enthusiasm, doing any of the things that made you and most importantly them happy.

The glimmers, change daily on what you except, how much you should except before you make that ultimate hard decision to let them cross the rainbow bridge.

In the end it shouldn’t be about me, because truth be told I want them to stick around for ever. But, knowing when the glimmer you see is just not enough anymore and it’s time to let them go.

We aren’t there yet. Thank goodness. But, some days it’s just so very hard.

My wish for you, to enjoy every moment every glimmer, you have with your pets.
