Elevate Equestrian at Ridgewood Stables Quality training specializing in eventing, dressage, and young riders. We build confidence through positive reinforcement and a fun environment!

Jamie Allison has been teaching for nearly 15 years and has taken many riders from their first few rides in the lesson program to winning ribbons at the shows on their own horses. She had the amazing opportunity to work as an assistant to advanced rider and successful horseman, Jeffrey Taylor, for 8 years. Those years of hard work and invaluable experience from Jeffrey sharpened her teaching, ridi

ng, and training skills. During that time Jamie competed through the Intermediate level, including a CIC 2*, and brought many young horses along through the levels successfully. Jamie welcomes riders of all levels and has several wonderful school horses available at our Columbia Station location. She is also happy to travel to you on your own horse and offers coaching at the horse shows whenever available. Young horses are a passion for Jamie and she always has great sale prospects available. Training rides and full training can be easily arranged for clients.

We took this crew to Morven Park for Loudoun Hunt Pony Club HT this weekend. It was a blustery spring weekend but all 4 horses walked away with double clear rounds and red ribbons! Very proud of how well everyone is riding and they are all looking on track for their upgrades this season. On to MayDaze in a couple of weeks.

This crew had an amazing weekend kicking off the 2025 show season at World Equestrian Center! We were all a little stressed shipping out after 3 incredibly frigid days with no riding but the horses were all class and stepped right up to the plate for us. It’s so fablulous to have such a top class facility so close to help us keep the horses happy in the depths of winter.

Tiff and I are incredibly proud of all of our girls at their first recognized jumper show staying sharp and laying out smooth rounds.

🏆 Special congrats to Emma Petrick for jumping around her first 1.10 meter classes and Brooke Guarnera and Courtney Boron for jumping around their first 1 meter classes!
