Elevate Equestrian at Ridgewood Stables Quality training specializing in eventing, dressage, and young riders. We build confidence through positive reinforcement and a fun environment!

Jamie Allison has been teaching for nearly 15 years and has taken many riders from their first few rides in the lesson program to winning ribbons at the shows on their own horses. She had the amazing opportunity to work as an assistant to advanced rider and successful horseman, Jeffrey Taylor, for 8 years. Those years of hard work and invaluable experience from Jeffrey sharpened her teaching, ridi

ng, and training skills. During that time Jamie competed through the Intermediate level, including a CIC 2*, and brought many young horses along through the levels successfully. Jamie welcomes riders of all levels and has several wonderful school horses available at our Columbia Station location. She is also happy to travel to you on your own horse and offers coaching at the horse shows whenever available. Young horses are a passion for Jamie and she always has great sale prospects available. Training rides and full training can be easily arranged for clients.

This crew had an amazing weekend kicking off the 2025 show season at World Equestrian Center! We were all a little stressed shipping out after 3 incredibly frigid days with no riding but the horses were all class and stepped right up to the plate for us. It’s so fablulous to have such a top class facility so close to help us keep the horses happy in the depths of winter.

Tiff and I are incredibly proud of all of our girls at their first recognized jumper show staying sharp and laying out smooth rounds.

I am so thankful for Ridgewood Stables, our entire staff who offer endless support, the privilege to run this business, and the amazing clinicians we are blessed to have. We are so fortunate that we get to play with our ponies at this beautiful farm, do what we love, and enjoy a sport that is getting harder and harder to keep alive and well. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We had a fun and successful weekend with Karl Slezak Eventing at the farm! Lots of great lessons and fun to be had all around! Jump Start 2024 will be one to remember! Thankful for our amazing group who not only kept smiling all weekend but enjoyed every second of the chaos lol We didn’t get to run XC but we are thankful for the staff for keeping us all safe and helping us to make the most of the weekend. Had a fabulous weekend celebrating the 25th Anniversary at Flying Cross Farm HT!!! This has always been one of our favorite events and we all had a great weekend, the crew at this show is always warm and welcoming and goes above and beyond. I was especially proud of everyone on the flat this weekend, so many scores in the 20’s, and they also took on the most challenging bank question at the Novice level that I have ever seen! We had some slow trips due to the hard ground but I was proud of the girls for making good horsemanship choices. Congrats to our whole crew!!!! Jump Start in two weeks!

We had an awesome and successful day of showing for our starter crew! Flash and Stroopy confidently finished their first official event and Diggy and Maybach got another great event under their belt! Very special mention to Kandes and Loved again for scoring a 22.7% and Playboy’s Brilliance for scoring a 21.3%! On to the BN/N/T horses tomorrow!
