This is only our second time at Play Space Shawnee, but we love it! I love that it’s a fun and safe space for Toot to play while I can try and get some much needed work done!

Happy Holidays, everyone!!

Just an update for all my wonderful clients!
I am in the process of switching scheduling software from Square to MoeGo. This will hopefully make things more streamlined for me and help me keep records straight for all the pets I see!

I will finish out this year on Square, but starting January 1st, I’ll be on MoeGo. The only change you will likely see is how your reminder texts come. They’ll be from a different number.

The amazing part is that you can download the pet parent app and schedule your appointments!

Whew! We barely made it in time, but we made it to the Meeker Christmas parade!

This is my whole crew - 4 of my personal pets and my new foster, Stripe is on my chest.
We also have Gertie, the grouchy grandma chihuahua; Fern, the ancient wonder; Ethyl, the Frenchie stink bug; and Maevis, the 65 # staffie who thinks she is as small as the rest.

Meet my newest foster. This sweet boy loves to cuddle! I can’t wait to see the transformation he goes through!

Demodex is a very treatable and common parasite that lives in the hair shaft. All animals have demodex, it just depends on how their immune system handles it. FUN FACT! There is a type of demodex that lives in human eye lashes!!

Treatment for demodex is as simple as Bravecto or Nexgard flea and tick medication! So skip all the “Old Wives Tales” such as used motor oil or bleach! Those are toxic and can make it so much worse!

Boone was such a good boy today for his nail trim once we figured out what worked for him!

He was my first patient in Seminole!

Boone has congestive heart failure so having his nails done at home was the best option for him! He gets the care he needs from the comfort of his own home!

One of my absolute favorite things is seeing patients from my previous work places.

See that handsome old man in the middle? That’s Duke. I have known Duke since he was a puppy. He is now 11 years old. While I haven’t see him in a few years, he definitely remembered me. We use to joke that he was my “boyfriend” at my last clinic because I was one of the few people who could work on him easily. I can’t believe he’s already 11. His little sister, “Leroy” the younger boxer, and “Earl” the corgi were leery of me at first, but warmed up quickly. Well…. Earl wasn’t fond of me because I was there to do his nails, but he loved the snacks lol

After many, many kisses were given and catching up with his mom, it was time so go so I had to get a group picture of these three ❤️ 🐾 Leroy, Duke, and Earl 🐾❤️
