A little long but letâs go over a few things:
Please slow down â we often have two â three year oldâs running around playing and riding bicycles. The kennel is a family affair which includes the toddlers. No worries we are trying to teach them to stop and go to the grass but their minds donât have time to go through that process when vehicles are pulling in like they are in a race. Plus with pups going in and out we donât want one of them spooked.
Please wait your turn. If there is a car or cars already in the parking lot then you wait until they are done to then come in. We donât want a door being opened and a pup running out, we donât want anyone bit and we donât want any dog fights. Trust me when I say we see you, your turn is coming.
Do not drop your pups off an hour before we are open, an hour after we close, the day before your supposed to, or in the middle of the day. Same goes for picking up. We have set hours to try and make things go smoothly. The âoff hoursâ are when we play with pups, clean/sanitize, and multiple other kennel duties.
Do not cancel last minute â with you reserving that spot until you know weather you have a family member or friend to watch the pups for you, you are stopping someone else from having a relaxing vacation.
If your pup is only staying with us for 1-2 days, please do not expect multiple updates and pictures especially an hour or two after you leave. With such a short stay you might not receive any pictures at all. We have 40+ pups every day and we donât have time to do 40+ photo shoots every single day.
If you didnât get back your pupâs favorite toy or blanket, please say something when you pick them up, not a month later. We do have a lost and found box but it is now full with items that no-one ever claims with not a whole lot of extra space to add another box.
Very Important: Please do not get your pups the Bordetella Vaccine for kennel cough with-in two weeks prior to coming to stay with us. The Bordetella vaccine is a great vaccine to have but we have a mandatory two-week waiting period. We are aware that other kennels donât have any waiting period, and others have a one month waiting period. DO NOT bring your pup to our facility with a cough of any kind.
We had a rate increase as of May 1st 2024, picture attached. If you reserved before May 1st, no worries as you are locked into our old rate. We have so many messages and phone calls coming in all day long that we canât remember who weâve told and who we havenât so we just want to make sure everyone is aware.
Please donât send your pups exact amount of food, the reasons for this is, our scoops might be larger than your scoops, your pup might spill/dump their food, or you may have travel delays. We often have pups that run out which causes us to run to town to go pick up more which takes away from the playing with pups and kennel duties that need to be done.
We do not guarantee that any beds, blankets or toys will survive their stay. You are welcome to bring these items in but some pups will destroy their beds and toys, put their blankets and beds into their water, drag everything out in their outdoor area and p*e on them.
Please DO NOT throw gum in our driveway or anything else that a pup or toddler can step in or eat.
