July was such a busy month for us we forgot to announce our dog of the month for June. Mr. Mack was voted as our winner, he's got a unique personality that has caused staff to fall in love with him. He's a sweet pup who loves coming to daycare! Enjoy your free day of daycare Mack

Hi! My name is Shay. I’m about 1 ½ yrs old and a bull dog mix. I’m friendly with all dogs and cats too (at least the one at my foster home). I can be shy at first but once I warm up, I love to play! I know my name and love to learn some more basic commands. Shay has not been around children since being rescued but may do well due to her submissive nature. Shay is heart worm negative, spayed and fully up to date on her vacations. She up for adoption through Aloha Adoptions. If you are interested in adopting this lovely girl, please talk to K9 Kampus staff or inquire more with Aloha Adoptions.

Notice

It is K9 Kampus policy to post a notice to clients to inform them if we have more than 1 client being treated for Canine Cough.

At this time we have been notified by 3 families that they are currently being treated for symptoms similar to Canine Cough. Please note that these clients have not been tested for Canine Cough but are being treated for symptoms similar to Canine Cough.

It is not uncommon practice for veterinarians to choose not to test for Canine Cough as we are informed the treatment is the same regardless if they are formerly tested or not and it saves the parents the cost of the test.

Please note K9 Kampus follows strict sanitizing practices and strict vaccination policies. No dogs are allowed into the facility without providing proof of all required vaccinations including Bordetella which is the vaccine for Canine Cough.

It is important to understand that the bordetella vaccine is very similar to receiving the human flu vaccine and does not protect against all strains which means even if you receive the vaccine it doesnt mean you will not still contract canine cough. It can be contracted anywhere your dog can come in contact with other dogs: dog parks, beaches, stores, walks around the block and yes daycare facilities.

K9 Kampus posts this information to inform our clients so they can make the determination on whether they want to have thier dogs participate in daycare services.

Lets give a big round of applause for our dog of the month for January, Laney!! Laney is cute as a button with a personality to match. She loves coming to play and enjoys playing in the water! She's best friends with everyone! Congrats Laney, enjoy your free day of daycare!

It's time to announce our dog of the year. Drum roll please! It's Faun. We're so excited to see faun win, she truly is one of our most loving dogs. She's always excited to see staff and give out hugs and kisses. She's made leaps and bounds as she was very nervous when she first started to attend daycare but now she can't wait to come in and play. Enjoy your free day of daycare Faun.
