Update on Blondie
Blondie is doing great! She’s recovering well, back to running around in the back yard with her foster mom:) remember Blondie is the senior gal we rescued from Corbin after weeks of contacting authorities, she was emaciated and with 60%+ hair loss from severe fleas and skin infections. Then she had what the vets think was a stroke and she had neurological symptoms and in general set backs. But she’s back to her baseline and eating much better too!! Thank y’all for all the prayers and inquiries about her ❤️❤️❤️
Grace and her babies.
Everyone is so active and our little runt is nursing again❤️❤️❤️, lol but she also loves her bottles too! For some reason mama relocated everyone today for the first time. And moved them out of the box and rub and in to the rig in front of my sink, so I moved the box:)
We need others to care. We need willing fosters and people who want to help. One person can’t do it all—rescue is built on small teams of compassionate individuals coming together to make a difference. I’m hopeful this will be the year of change, a turnaround in the dog crisis. I want to see more people stepping up to foster, volunteer, and take action to make a difference in their community and in the lives of animals who deserve so much better. As the holiday season and new year come & go, I hope people take time to reflect on how they can be better, how they can do more. I hope to see your name on our foster list this season. We get countless pleas for help, but so few people willing to answer the call. Somewhere along the way, being a good person seems to have taken a back seat. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. If you’re ready to join the few who are willing to start what should be the real trend, join our tribe. Volunteer with us. Open your door—even if it’s inconvenient. Do the right thing, and help us save homeless animals in Northern Kentucky. Together, we can make a difference.
