SECOND SHOT YEAR IN REVIEW

Please enjoy a snapshot of the AMAZING animals that I had the honor to photograph this year as Second Shot (501c3). This was my 12th year photographing adoptable animals for shelters and rescues to help them find forever homes. And it is no exaggeration to say that I have fallen in love with each and every one of them. Each one is so special and so deserving of love. What they endure and bounce back from is an inspiration.

This year we were happy to support Cincinnati Animal CARE, Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue, Kenton County Animal Services, A Soft Landing Senior Rescue, Cleo’s Legacy, Clermont County Animal Shelter, Lucky Tales Rescue, Paws for Miles, Stray Animal Adoption Program, Red Oak Animal Rescue- ROAR.

This work is my passion and it fills my heart to do this work. My dream has always been for this to be MORE than my "full time non-paying job." Not to get rich, but for me to get by just doing what I love. I gave up a consulting career and a six figure income to fill my heart, not my wallet. But it's a struggle.

I continue to reach out to Brands I'd love to WORK FOR (that could benefit from this work beyond saving the lives of their customers) or to receive SPONSORSHIP FROM. If you have any connections and could help me network with the right folks to have a conversation with, I sure would appreciate the introduction!

I don’t want to give up this dream, but fear I can’t keep going much longer without a dependable paycheck and maybe even some health insurance! 12 years is a long time! We need foster for this boy ASAP, he’s great with other dogs, cats, kids, housebroken and utd on shots!

His foster brother was diagnosed with cancer and will be undergoing surgery and treatment and it’s not a good place for a young energetic pup like Zeus.

He has free training sessions available for him and his foster.

We are a 💯 foster based and volunteer rescue we need fosters!

I pick him up later today and would love to take him to a new fister instead of back to a foster home with 2 other fosters and 2 personal dogs, he ends up spending alot of time in a kennel:(

Zeus NEEDS a FOSTER ASAP!
He is the most loving, gentle and amazing boy! He has available training days also with anyone who fosters him!
He does well with other dogs and kids, he is a young boy just about 8 months old so still a puppy and still working on living in a home.

Zeus was our Mason County boy that had been abandoned on a front porch by his owners, neighbors were feeding and watering him or he would have been dead! The porch was covered in his f***s and urine, and he was hungry, but the sweetest boy! He has energy and love, lots of love to give and just needs a warm, safe home to show him the ropes and guide him.

He is housebroken, neutered, UTD on shots and flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

We saved him and got him healthy and feeling safe with humans, we just need help to show him that life in a home is a fabulous thing!

He has done fabulous in his temp foster home kennel free with her other 2 dogs, he wants to play with the other dogs and be with his people, he loves hard and fast! Sadly one the dogs in his temp foster home is senior and was just diagnosed with cancer, so he has to come first and schooling a young active dog is not something he needs to worry about at this time, nor do his temp foster folks.

Can you help us get this bestest boy on to the next leg of his journey from his horrible beginnings to his furever home??
