Rubio Pet Hospital Canine and feline General Veterinary Services Carlos Rubio, DVM was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia.

He attended the National University of Colombia and graduated as a Veterinarian in 1992. Few months after graduation he emigrated to the United States looking for better opportunities. He worked as a veterinary assistant at South Broward Animal Hospital, Sadowsky Animal Hospital and Hollywood Animal Hospital and obtained his American DVM license in 1997. He has worked most of his career at Banfiel

d The Pet Hospital at the Pembroke Pines, Aventura and Sunrise locations.The last 9 years he was the charter owner at Banfield Pet Hospital of Melbourne working along with his wife Juliana. Dr Rubio has been married for 15 years, has three children and a spoiled cat named "Flower". In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and traveling. Our mission is to help your pet live a longer and healthier life by providing our best medical care delivered with sincere compassion and honesty.
