We suddenly lost Aura today, one of the two girls left at our door. Possibily due to a congenital heart condition or FIP.
Aura was a loving cat that deserved more than what life gave her. We were at least able to give her a warm cat bed, food, love for the time that she was with us. Even with all the love we have in our hearts for every cat, none of this would be possible without support from our community. Today you helped us provide emergency vet care and a dignified passing for a cat that would have otherwise been left outside to fend for herself. So to anyone who has donated, volunteered, or just came by to see the cats, thank you. And thank you Aura for being so kind to us while you were here.

Her sister will be getting an EKG to check for any underlying conditions then will be back to being adoptable next week.

This Caturday is for Lisel!
Lisel was found wandering outside by someone with cat allergies. Sweet and vocal she likes to be the center of attention and is still full of kitten energy. So far she does not like other cats, and would prefer an only cat home.
Come see her Wednesday through Sunday noon to 3, Saturday noon to 4.

The two cat left at the shelter door are ready for adoption! They've been named Aura and Maré (any Overlord fans here? Anybody? No? ...Okay)
They were most likely dumped for being in heat and are now spayed, chipped, up to date on shots. Aura is loud and friendly, while Maré is a sweet biscuit maker who finally ventured out of the carrier she was left in today.
They are full of love and looking for a home that will commit to taking care of them.
Come visit them Wednesday through Sunday noon to 3, Saturday noon to 4.

This Caturday is for Mama!
Mama is a shyer, long time resident who spent her early years outside, having kittens. Long since indoors, she takes a while to warm up to strangers, but enjoys the company of other adult cats.
She is adoptable to someone with a lot of experience with cats and a lot of patience for both her fur and her adjustment period.

Feline Friday is Rizzo!
Rizzo came to us as a rough little baby with an eye infection, worms, and scabies. After a nice long quarantine and lots of medication and healing, shes become great friends with almost every cat in the shelter.
While outside her eye infection cause her 3rd eye lid to fuse to the outside of her eye. She sees and gets around fine but wether or not she needs eye surgery is up in the air until shes completely grown.
While she is afraid of very loud people approaching her, she enjoys quieter humans and befriends all kittens easily, and if course loves to play.
