Herky is the sweetest boy and he actually races into the building when he comes for his paw-dicures! He just loves our nurses and he loves giving love. He also makes a point to stop to say goodbye to our receptionists on the way out. When he came in with his Valentine’s outfit that says “I steal hearts”, our hearts melted. He has truly stolen all of our hearts and we look forward to seeing him at each visit because he just brightens our day! We love you Herky!

Today, we’re celebrating Bree! She is in the final stretch of the vet tech program, and we couldn’t be prouder of how much she has grown. She already has all the qualities of an amazing technician—kindness, dedication, and a heart full of compassion for every patient she meets!

Bree’s positivity is contagious; she’s always smiling! We know she’s going to do incredible things, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our team. In her time outside of work and school, she enjoys the beach, boating, fishing and adventuring!

Happy Birthday to Emiley!

From starting with us as a student to becoming the amazing CVT she is today, Emiley has truly purr-fected her skills over the years! She has blossomed so much over the years from quiet and reserved to confident and always seeking to improve her skills.

Emiley has a paw-some way with our feline patients, using fear-free techniques to keep them as calm as possible—she’s a cat whisperer! She introduced us all to Churu years ago, the ultimate kitty bribe! She of course always tries to make not just kitties but all of our patients as comfy as possible while at our hospital.

Emiley, is also furthering her education and working towards a Bachelor’s degree and is also active with Coastal Boxer Rescue. Have a meow-nificent day Emiley!

Happy Birthday to the amazing Noelle!

From the moment Noelle joined us as a student, we knew she was something special. Her leadership qualities, dedication, and compassion set her apart from day one, and watching her grow into the incredible CVT she is today has been an honor.

Not only is she an amazing technician, but she also pours her heart into another passion—volunteering her time to help sea turtles at the Sea Turtle Presevation Society.

Noelle, we are so grateful to have you on our team. We hope it’s turtle-y awesome!

Happy Birthday to Dr. Floyd! She joined our team nearly a year ago and instantly became family. Before joining our team she was a veterinarian at a shelter and she has a huge heart for rescuing. Animals in need seem to find her! Recently she found two little stray dogs and after exhausting every effort to find their owners, she fostered them only to find the female dog was pregnant—she quickly went to fostering two dogs to four! She already has a house full of rescues, but knew these little dogs needed some care before finding their forever homes. Her huge heart is also evident by the care and compassion she brings to her patients. We are so thankful to have her on our team. She is pictured with her soul dog, Osiris! Today we’re celebrating one of our amazing veterinary assistants and one of the hardest workers we know. Judy’s journey with us is nothing short of inspiring. She started as a kennel technician back when we provided boarding services years ago, stepping into a role in a brand-new environment while also quickly learning a brand new language. Through perseverance, determination, and an incredible work ethic, she has worked her way up and become an essential part of our team.

Judy, your joyful spirit and constant smile brighten every corner of our hospital. Your dedication, growth, and positivity inspire all of us, and we are beyond lucky to have you as part of our family.

We’ve gotten to see Kevin and Lucy since they were tiny little nuggets and have seen them grow so much already in the past month. They are only 12 weeks old but they are such sweet puppies. Their little collars matched the tree skirt perfectly! Kevin didn’t want picture time to end!
