Roland Senior Dog Sanctuary We are a registered non profit 501c3 senior dog rescue. We provide a safe, loving home for their remaining time with us.

We take in and find homes for senior dogs who have been abandoned at local shelters or who's owners can no longer care for them., We provide a warm, safe and loving home for the remainder of their lives.

We are so sad to let everyone know that our sweet, gentle Lucy passed away suddenly a few days ago. Pops has been down with a back issues and posts are way behind. Lucy was a true treasure! She was a vocal gal who absolutely loved “Cookie Time”. No one was as happy as her when the treats came out!!! She was so shy and scared when we first rescued her from Putnam County. It took about a week before she felt safe and would come inside the Big Dog Haven to sleep. She blossomed into a confident, happy gal. We didn’t know her age, but she was around 10 we believe. Cookie Time is not the same, but will always be in honor of our beautiful Lucy Loo. Rest easy my friend, we’ll have cookies ready for you when we meet again!!

We want to thank the ladies from Lake County FOE 4273 Ladies Auxiliary in Okahumpka FL for stopping by today and bring a ton of donations. This is the second year they have held a Christmas fundraiser for the seniors. We had a great visit with them as they got to meet the gang and love on them! We can’t thank them enough !!
