The sun came up just right this morning and the sunlight came through our lobby doors just right and we had rainbow in our lobby! This is the best Pride party decor provided by nature even if it didn’t last long. Our Pride daycamp party is next Thursday June 9th!

One of the hardest parts of what we do is when we have to say “see you later” to a regular camper because they’re on to new adventures. We hope that we’ll get to see you again Kinje and hope that you you have a blast on your new adventures!

Last week or the week before we had a “stray” left in our parking lot around 7pm on a Friday we were able to safely secure him in a carrier with water and food in our hotel lobby manager’s office until we could reach out to the proper authorities. Jake stayed with us for a couple of days until he was picked up. He was then reunited with his mom and she came by today to thank us and brought us pizza for taking care of him and doing what we did so they could be reunited. She ended up telling us that the day he went missing was because they had just gotten home from the grocery store and were bringing groceries in the house and the door was left open so he wondered outside. Once they realized he wasn’t in the house they went looking for him and couldn’t find him and began to think the worst until they were contacted that he had been found and safe and had been taken care of. She couldn’t even express how grateful she is for us, what we did for them, and what we do on a daily basis. These happy stories are why we all do what we do every day! Jake
