Our mission is to help foster, nurture and care for unwanted dogs and puppies until they can find their chance at a new, wonderful life. Blues City Rescue is a not-for-profit rescue program whose primary purpose is to relocate dogs and puppies from the rural south to the Midwest and New England, where overpopulation is not as dire. Our goal is to help clear crowded shelters in the south, help dogs

who have been dumped, dogs with medical emergencies…if a dog needs help in any way we do our best to get them the care they need. The goal is to place as many dogs and puppies in new homes where they will have the most wonderful lives and become part of a new family. Blues City Rescue is entirely volunteer based. All of our adoptable animals are in foster homes until they find their perfect adopter. All dogs come from various backgrounds – abuse, neglect, homeless, injured, unwanted, unloved, scared, alone – but they are all given the necessary love and attention they need while they wait to find their fur-ever homes. Blues City Rescue transports and travels to the Midwest all the way to New England via RescueVet transport several times per month to transport our adopted animals to their new homes.

This time of year is rough for rescues because of holidays, etc. We would really appreciate if you could open your heart and home, even during the holidays, and help us help these babies. There are five total. If we can get two fosters to take two each for at least two weeks we can make it happen. Please help us help them🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. Dorothy is so perfect. Walked her this morning with one finger. Doesn’t pull! Along for the ride! She is still in need of a forever home 🤍

I feel BLESSED! So grateful and thankful that we have this sweet girl, Madeline, now in our care. So many people to thank. Isabella for fostering. Finder for having her shaved. Brinley for bringing her to us. I am OBSESSED with her sweet nature . She is believed to be blind, at the very least her vision is greatly Impaired but she also seems to have some eye infection so we are hoping the drops she's taking with help improve her eyesight once she's completed a full round . Just look at her 🥰🩷 BEFORE photos in comments !

We need LITTLE DOG FOSTERS! These little ones are all less than 10 lbs, 3 boys and 1 girl! Would love to find fosters for them for two weeks when they leave on transport? Memphis , Tn. We will provide everything you need !
