If you don’t plan to take care of your dog for the entirety of his/her life, DONT GET ONE.

There are so many things we would like to say regarding this situation, but we will refrain. Our disappointment, anger, sadness, frustration, and disbelief are best kept quiet. After all, what good would it do to tell the world we have pretty much lost hope in humankind?

After four years of being a wonderful, loyal companion, Jinx has been surrendered to the shelter. Brought to us pregnant and confused, she now sits on a cold concrete floor, waiting to give birth. We anticipate that it could be any hour now, as the stress of being displaced will most likely throw her into labor.

Through no fault of her own, Jinx became an inconvenience. We will most certainly care for her and her puppies; we will do right by her.

12-12-24 We have officially spotted Angel! We will update once she is safely caught. We’re doing everything we can right now. See most recent comment below.

12-11-24 If you think you see Angel I NEED a photo or video! We need actual proof that she is out there. Please text it to 662-403-1180. She has to be in Collierville or Germantown. Do not chase her— stay in your car or keep your distance. Thank you all so much for helping. Keep sharing this post.

12-10-24 Angel could be heading East through Collierville. Two potential sightings would put her east of Houston Levee close to Shea Rd.
Please don’t chase or call her.
Call 662-403-1180 immediately if you see her.

12-7 thru 12-9 We had two potential sightings but nothing concrete yet. We searched the original property thoroughly and believe she left the area. All the traps caught raccoons and the cameras only saw deer.

12-6-24 Many of you already know. When Angel arrived back to her foster home after surgery she escaped the car and ran into the woods behind the house. I want to first clarify that this was a honest mistake and we are not mad at anyone. All we want is to find Angel.

She went through a serious surgery today (thank you for the donations people sent). We found out from the vet she has been used for breeding her entire life.

She is supposed to be on 14 days of kennel rest. Traps have been set. Cameras are up. All of our amazing rescue friends have stepped up to help.

We do need your help! If you see Angel (she was on the corner of Frank Rd and Houston Levee in Collierville, TN) DO NOT CHASE HER. DO NOT CALL HER NAME. Just take a photo and contact us. Also please share this post! The more people who see her the more chances we have to find her.

We have several things in our favor—

She’s hungry.
She’s tired.
There are woods behind her fosters house.
We have traps and cameras set.
She loves Edgar. So he will be searching for her.

I know people will be worried. Please just pray and get some sleep. If you want to really help contact us. We have two good dog trappers helping us.

Angel is literally an Angel. She is okay and she will get home. 🙏🏻 This photo was taken just moments before she escaped.
