Shipped SIX Copper Axolotls today!!! I will be holding all sales for now until after the Scaled Up Expo on Sunday so I have some to present there! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU everyone for all of your support! The coppers went FAST! Right now I have Whiskey and Marigold paired up again but the warm weather has paused breeding so we're just going to let them do their thing and when they're ready they'll bless us with more eggs on their terms

Everyone got water changes today and the newts got their enclosure set up, complete with waterfall! They'll go into the 40 gallon breeder aquarium once my 180 gallon tank is set up for my adult lotls and then they'll get a bioactive aquatic and land enclosure. But so far they seem to enjoy their new home and have figured out how to efficiently hide from me. Meanwhile, my copper lotls seem to be having a meeting 🤣

Alright! The wait is over!!! My new species has arrived and I'm so excited I can't even handle it!
I have added NEWTS to my breeding program! These cuties are Italian Crested Newts! It will be a while before I have babies but they will be ADORABLE!
Now, I need YOUR help! This pair needs names! What are your favorite duo names and we'll do a vote to see who's wins!

I haven't posted an update on Whiskey and Marigolds babies in a while! But they're doing great! Getting back legs now and eating whole blackworms! There is quite an array of colors in this clutch which has me very excited!

The babies LOVE their black worms! We had to separate them today because we some that are HUGE with full back legs already! I swear they're growing way faster this time!

Water change today and decided to try worms with the babies and they happily ate them! All are between 2 and a half and 3 inches now which means they'll be ready for their homes in about a week! Guess what?!?!? Daisy, our other Leucistic GFP female started laying this morning! Can't wait to see what morphs she gives us! In the meantime we'll keep feeding the first round to help them grown big and strong!
