It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share with you the passing of our clinic cat, Stanley. Stanley had been battling cancer, specifically Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) in his mouth, for several months. SCC is the most common neoplasm of the feline oral cavity, typically affecting the tongue and gingiva. Unfortunately, his health continued to decline. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his APC family. Stanley was more than just a clinic cat to us. He was our team member, our confidant, our friend, and our emotional support when we needed it. He has been with us since he was just a kitten, 16 years ago. He was loved so much and words can not even describe how much his presence here will be missed. While it was one of the hardest decision's we've ever had to make, we know his legacy of love and sass will live on in our hearts. His paw prints will forever be etched in the foundation of this clinic. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for everyone's compassion towards our team during this difficult time as we learn to navigate without him here. We also welcome anyone who has memories of Stanley to share them in the comments. ❤️
