Dr. Monica Dickson is now accepting new patients at Appanasha Pet Clinic. Originally from Wild Rose, WI, Dr. Dickson graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2020 with a Biology degree, then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2024.

With a lifelong passion for animal care, Dr. Dickson's areas of interest include preventative medicine, dermatology, and geriatric patient care.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her two adopted cats and two mixed-breed dogs.

It's Meet APC Monday!! Here at APC we think it is important for you to get to know our team members behind the scenes working hard every day to care for your furry family members!

Hi there, I'm Jenny. I've been with Appanasha since 2011. I did an internship for Vet Assistant and got hired on as an Assistant and as a Kennel Assistant. I then became kennel manager for a while then worked my way in to a full time Veterinary Assistant position. Around 2013 I sadly left Appanasha to focus on my nursing career and close to a year later I missed it so much, so I came back very part time to work in kennel while working as a CNA. I now work as a Registered Nurse at an Addiction and mental health clinic. I am also working as a Nurse educator very part time as that is my dream job. I then come to Appanasha to get away from humans! For my free time, which isn't much, I love hanging with my family, fur babies and floating in my pool!
