Update 6:17 pm: a mom has been found! This baby is being transferred to another local rescue with a nursing mother. Thank you everyone for spreading the word!

Please spread the word! We just took in this tiny kitten who is no more than a few days old. We are searching for a nursing mother cat who might take this kitten as her own. A mother cat is this baby’s best chance for survival. We will spay-for Free!- any mother cat who can take in this baby until it is weaned. If you can help please leave a message with your name and number at (920) 424-2128. Thank you for helping us save them.

Have you heard? The shelter is running low on canned cat food! I thought it wasn’t true but I escaped my gallery long enough to check the cupboards and the supply is dwindling fast! I told my 200 plus roommates and they started freaking out! “What will we do, they asked? Surely we are doomed, we’ll all STARVE!” Then I had this great idea. I sneaked out of the gallery, bravely heading for the dog desk computer to send this message before humans got back in the building. Is anyone out there reading this? Could you bring us some canned food? We’re not fussy; we’ll eat any kind of canned food: pate, shreds, bits in gravy, flaked, chicken, fish, liver, or beef. That would be so kind of you and would put our minds at ease. If you need to drop off food when the doors aren’t open in the morning, just ring the bell. Thank you ever so much! Love, Alvin
