We know when we welcome these men into our pasture it's to provide a retired, peaceful end of life, however loosing them is never easy. We lost Duffy about a month ago and today we found Dancer eternally resting.
RIP boys, loved having you with us for the last year 🥺

Been a min since we've actually saddled up Jafar. Short little walks in the paddock tonight :)

Seems we need to walk the pasture and find what Jafar stepped on, something that sliced his hoof and broke it off up into his coronet.
Thank you to Stuart Veterinary Clinic for squeezing us in today and taking care of our gentle old man.
Jafar is style'n in his diaper duct tape boot :)

We need a LOT of T Posts (and cattle panels/fencing).. anyone have an idea to buy in bulk to save $
Or if you'd like to donate some to Reason to Rescue, Where geldings go to Retire that would be amazing.
Our seniors see the grass is truly greener on the other side, but we need to build fence to get them there.
Trying to save our hay for winter.

4️⃣ Duffy
️️5️⃣ Saint
6️⃣ Blaze - has been our baby for quite some time and is happy to share his home with all his new brothers.
🔆Note: we don't rescue to adopt them out, we rescue to give them a final peaceful, relaxing, retirement home.

Duffy and Dancer, we now refer to them as the twins, enjoying a brief cool down shower providing a little relief from the heat.

We haven't had an update in a while, Bucket and Jafar are living a peaceful life at their new home on the RT Ranch!

We have some new friends joining us in a week or two.
