Dixie is just the sweetest and has a very dainty head. She also does not have any white on her body which does not happen very often.

Dixie is 6 panel N/MYHM, AQHA registered Smoky Black, and located in Menoken, ND.

She has Leo and Sugar Bars just off her papers with Dash for Cash and Go Man Go a couple of generations off as well.

A Freckled Relic, aka Sunny, is a 14.1 hand, 2020 AQHA palomino gelding that is by Pl***oys Lightnin, LTE $2.5k in NCHA (Freckles Pl***oy, OE $24.56+ million) and out of Sunny Day Jewell (Colonel Freckles JR).

Sunny is a simple man with simple needs! Very cute, stout palomino gelding ready to cover some country. Sunny is incredibly laid back and has had a slow and easy start to riding life. He was started last year, had the winter off, and we jumped on him this spring with no trouble at all! Sunny is so basic he probably orders Starbucks while wearing black leggings sporting a sweatshirt that says, ‘It’s Fall Ya’ll’.

Sunny is currently with a trainer to get a refresher and introduced to breakaway. He has been ranched on and very lightly started in the box. Sunny may not be ‘fancy’ broke just yet, but he does everything a good citizen should do. He’ll side pass, cross water and isn’t afraid out on the trail. Sunny knows his leads and crosses any obstacle that ranch life brings his way. Trailing cattle and crossing the swamp isn’t an issue for this golden boy!

No funny business and has great ground manners, good for farrier/ grooming, and tacking up. Sunny is simply a happy being a horse and would love to be someone’s main mount that can appreciate his simple way of life.

While Sunny may not have a future as a high caliber performance horse, he has potential to take you to weekend shows and have the time of your life. Due to his young age and inconsistent professional training, we feel he is best suit for a more experienced rider that can put some miles on him. With a bit of time partnered with his cool as a cucumber disposition, the potential is there to be a good fit for a lower level rider.

Prior to our ownership of Sunny, he did have an accident with a net bale feeder which left his adult front teeth flawed. Does not require any special feeding and will eat from a hay net, simply cosmetic. Sunny has a big strong bone under him and a classic quarter horse, bulldog build. He needs a forever home to love him for who he is.

Archer's sire is Freckles Shining Ace, our home-raised stallion by Shiners Ace who is an own son of Shining Spark. Shining Spark was the NRCHA’s youngest Million Dollar Sire, who reached million dollar status in 2004.

Archer's dam is Ivers Catalena Annie, who is sired by Catalena Son Evans who was sired by Catalena Boy by Doc Olena. Annie's dam Muriel's Trouble Gal was one of our broodmares that was line bred Parkers Trouble (AQHA Hall of Fame 2016) and Bert (AQHA Hall of Fame 2007).

Archer has incredible full siblings and should mature around 15 hands.

Went up to check on the foals in the north pasture once more before school starts up. I am so blown away by Shyann's filly Sienna this year. I am really excited to see her grow up only a few miles away from us.

Grandma Lois and I watched LXH Shiners R***r sell in the League of Legends Invitational Horse and Stock Dog Sale today. ’Nolan’ was born on our ranch and was purchased by Paje Turner as part of their program where 50% of Lot 1 is donated to the Montana High School Rodeo Association. Nolan went for a great price and even greater cause! Thank you to the Turner Family for the purchase of an LXHR horse. It has been a pleasure seeing how well you all take care of and train horses.

With all of the concerns regarding the newly testable Equine Juvenile Spinocerebellar Ataxia (EJSCA) popping up on the internet, we tested our three stallions: Freckles Shining Ace, RCOne Little Pepto, and Shiver N Shine Two. We are very blessed and excited to announce that all 3 boys are N/N for the disease.

If any of our current and/or past customers are worried about their LXHR horse possibly carrying it, I will add their dam to the priority list to be tested for EJSCA.

Some EXCELLENT photos of LXH Cutters Honey from this summer.

Honey is owned by my sister in law Jennah Trefz. Honey has had a big summer from riding in Medora, moving cows, playdays, and competing in the Aberdeen Area Horeman's Association event in July, earning ribbons in barrels, poles, flag race, keyhole, and ranch riding on the rail, including 1st place in poles. Honey has been to several playdays this year already with two more this coming week!

We could NOT be more proud of the team that these two honeys make.

Honey is sired by our previous LXH Cutters Ethan and is out of our ESIX Hollywood Gypsy.

Jody Fairfax, Cutter Bill, Peptoboonsmal, Doc Bar, Freckles Pl***oy, Jackie Bee, Peponita, Sonny Dee Bar, and Hollywood Dun It all run through her veins, making her incredibly versatile.
