Happy National Camping Month! Ready to hit the trails with your pet? Remember these tips as you venture out into nature:

👉 Be mindful of restricted areas.
👉 Be courteous to other campers by picking up after your pet and control barking and other noise.
👉 Keep your pet on a leash. Some parks have a 6 ft. leash policy; check with your park for specific rules.
👉 Never leave your dog unattended, especially in a hot vehicle.
👉 Pack some special items for your pet just as you would any other member of the family such as dog food (and water if you are dry camping), water bowl and food bowl. If your animal can NOT go camping with you, we would love to host them at our luxury lodging facility!

Dr. Munyon from walked us through Maggie's procedure so we thought we'd update his followers, too!

Maggie will be slightly sedated, then his right eye will be numbed so they can pull out some of the fluid. A chemical will be injected that kills the eye and relieves the pressure. Post-procedure, Maggie will be on pain meds and some different eye drops for about a week and then should be pain-free!! 🙌

But seriously, how cute are Dr. Munyon and Maggie?? 😍
