This amazing lady ( Moses Ark ) took in another 4 kittens this weekend on top of 2 dozen other cats\kittens in the last few weeks. But our lovely friend is struggling. The rescue needs help in volunteers and donations. She's non profit and can use any help she can get.

The clinic has a big box up front for supply donations (needed: kitten dry\canned food, kitten replacement milk, kitty litter, adult food, cleaning supplies) and also a box for monetary donations.

Please consider helping this amazing lady and rescue!

We're setting up a box in our front office area to help with donations for Moses Ark rescue as they recently took in more cats that put them way over their capacity - several of them being kittens. So anything you could possibly help out would be very helpful for them. Monetary donations are welcome too!

Just a reminder that the clinic will be closed for a week at the end of June for staff vacations. Starting Monday, June 24th and will be back open on Monday, July 1st. In case of an emergency, please contact Oakwood Hills or Allied Emergency in Eau Claire.

The clinic will be closed again on Thursday, July 4th but back open until 2pm on Friday the 5th.

If you are needing medication refills or food, please consider getting them early. We tried using our texting\emailing service for this reminder, but we had a glitch in sending. So please remind friends or family if you see this message.

Say hello to our little friend- Ed. Ed is a special kitty. He only has 3 legs. He came to us as a kitten and something happened to his front right leg where we had to remove it. He did great and went off to Moses Ark rescue. He's now looking for his forever home. He's about 1.5 years old, shy at first, but a great guy. And he loves food. LOVES food! We can't emphasize that enough! So don't turn your back for a second or your lunch will be sucked up by him. And as a 3 legged pet goes, they should be more lean as their other three joints are taking on extra stress from the missing limb. He's currently on a special diet food, probiotic and joint supplement. He's current on his vaccines and is neutered. He likes other cats, but might need to be slowly introduced. If you're interested, drop in and say hi!

Hello hello! We want to let you know that Dr Brakken is going on vacation again next month, this time having everyone else take a vacation too. So that means the clinic will be closed for the whole week of June 24th. So closed from Monday, June 24th and will reopen on Monday July 1st.

In case of an emergency, please contact Oakwood Hills or Allied Emergency Vet in Eau Claire or AERC in the Twin cities.

The clinic will be closed for the 4th of July and Dr Brakken will also be gone on the 5th, but the clinic will be open.

So if you're needing medications or food around that time frame in June, we recommend coming in early for those.

And a huge thanks for being so supportive! Wouldn't be here without you all and your wonderful pets!

Appointment update: we wanted to let everyone know that we are out roughly 6-8 weeks for routine annual exam and vaccine appointments. So bare with us when calling. We've been very busy this spring trying to get caught up!

We're accepting new clients, but taking a wait list and getting them in as we can.

Dr Brakken will be out of the office starting Saturday, April 13th and will return on Monday, April 22nd. She will not be available for appointments or emergencies.

The clinic will be open for food and medication pick ups, but may close early on some days, especially Friday the 19th- will close at 2pm. So please call ahead just in case!

She's from Moses Ark Rescue and was very stressed out there with all the other cats and it's been determined that she needs a home with her as the ONLY cat, she doesn't mind dogs though. She's a very sweet girl! Come visit her at the clinic!

Dr. Brakken and Meg will be gone on Friday, November 17th for a vet conference. The clinic will still be open for food and med pick ups, but will be closing at 2pm.

Starting this month, the 4th Friday of every month, the clinic will be closing at 2:30pm.

Also starting this month, we will no longer have Saturday's available for appointments. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to short staff, it has made it unmanageable to do so.

Dr Brakken will also be out of town for Labor Day weekend and will not be available for emergencies. In case of one, please contact Allied Emergency Clinic in Eau Claire, Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital in Eau Claire or AERC in the Twin Cities.

We have become aware that Country Doctors is closing. We are trying to come up with a plan to try to accommodate what we can from their clientele with priority to our current clientele. We are out several weeks for appointments right now and our phonelines may become very busy.
