Daylight Saving Time & Your Dog
When we “fall back” or “spring ahead,” our clocks change — but our dogs don’t get the memo!
Dogs live by their internal rhythms, not by the numbers on our watches. Their bodies and habits follow the rise and fall of the sun — breakfast time, walks, and bedtime all feel “off” when we suddenly shift the schedule.
Why it matters:
Dogs thrive on consistency. A sudden change in feeding or walking time can leave them confused, anxious, or even cause little tummy upsets or potty accidents.
How to help:
Ease your dog into the new schedule over a few days. Move mealtimes and walks by 10–15 minutes each day before (or after) the time change until you’re back on track. Keep routines calm and predictable — extra playtime and patience help too!
Remember: our dogs don’t need clocks to tell time — they just need us to keep life steady and loving.

Today we celebrate Akella, Deja, Max, Max, Nikko, and Sasha — our beautiful P babies! Hard to believe it’s already been six years since we welcomed this special litter into the world.
Proud parents Zlata and Aslan gave us an unforgettable group of puppies, full of heart, loyalty, and spirit — and it’s been such a joy watching them grow into the amazing dogs they are today.

We are a small, family owned and operated German Shepherd Dog kennel located in beautiful rural Wisconsin. Our concentration is on Purebred German Shepherd Dogs - Imported German Lines. We strive to keep our breeding standards high, and therefore, all or dogs are health-tested & trained.
Our kennel produces saddle Black & Red Puppies and Solid Black Puppies of both Standard Short Stock and Long Coat Stock. All our puppies are family raised and desensitized with kids, other dogs and our busy lifestyle! Puppies are placed with families after 8 weeks and come with registration (AKC), full Vet Check & Vaccinations, Health Guarantee & Micro-Chip. Shipping is Available - Ground Delivery And Air Cargo From Msp/St Paul Airport.
