Thank you all so much for your patience with rescheduling while I am sick.
I'm messaging to update everyone that they didn't find anything wrong besides stress. I have more appointments to recheck bloodwork and it's slow progress to feel like myself again. Until further notice I will not be able to do "late nights" any longer. I am in the process of finding someone who can possibly take on my late night dogs or be able to do some weekends. I will update you when I know more!

Just checking in with everyone. I have been sick these last 4 now, 5 days. In and out of the hospital. We are not sure what's going on. I've had to reschedule some appointments. 3 weeks ago I was sick with the exact same illness so we are pretty sure it's not a virus. Hoping this doesn't go on long. I'll keep you all updated. I'm just taking 1 day at a time with appointments. We will see what tomarrow brings!

I Just want to thank everyone for all of their support over the years! Thank you for being patient and kind to Katie and I as we try our best to navigate self employment while also being full time moms! Sometimes it is hard, incredibly hard, but it's also rewarding. I cherish all the relationships I have made over the years and all the clients and friends who have been with me through so much. The only reason I'm able to do this is because of you.

On another note I wanted to give you all a heads up. We are booking into October (which is pretty good for our size salon). We try our best to not book out a month but with the holiday season comming it will most likely happen. We are not accepting anymore clients at this time and I do have an apprentice working with us very part time. Always feel free to book online. If we don't answer the phone, online is the best option we have. With 3 blow drivers running it's almost impossible to take phone calls and while at the salon we rarely have down time, most days I eat my lunch while I groom dogs. If I need a p*e break I put laundry in or sweep but we don't stop from 9am when we drop our kids off at school Till we drive home between 5 and 7. We Reply to messages when we can. We aren't good at it, Maybe once a week. So please don't be afraid to book online, reschedule before you leave, come in to see us in person or just be patient! It helps us keep burn out at bay, loving our job and letting us focus 1 on 1 with your pet. If that's something you can't live with. I totally understand and maybe we aren't the right fit for you. Which is ok too! "You can be the juiciest, ripest, most perfect peach in the world and there are still people who don't like peaches." There are other salons that are accepting new clients.

Our last Nail Trim clinic was so successful we are going to give it another shot next month! Saturday September 28th from 10 am-12pm 15$ nail trims, 15$ gland expressions. All proceeds will be donated to Moses Ark animal rescue.
The day we were able to give our donation last week, the rescue had received 4 kittens (found in a box with a note) and an inquiry to take in 3 cats who lost their owner to su***de. Moses Ark gets no government funding. They are not in contract with counties in the area and receive very few regular donations. My goal is to be able to do this once a month for this amazing rescue who helps the animals and ppl in need within our community! As long as people keep coming for nail trims we will keep donating our time to help save animals!

This time of year gets really busy for a lot of families and I know I will take all the help I can get! Sun Spot has been using chelsea and she's helped at my home too. I cannot express how much easier my life has become having help with cleaning! She might have saved my marriage from a fight or two about who's turn it is to do the dishes also. 😆🤭
