Oh the joy of puppies! These babies are in loving homes and will be 1 year old on June 1st.

For those concerned about the issue with Pedigree Dog Food, the following is an email I received last week from the Dog Food Advisor.

You’re getting this email alert because you signed up on our website and asked to be notified of dog food recalls.

Mars Petcare U.S. has recalled 315 bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition Grilled Steak & Vegetable Flavor Dry Dog Food 44lb Bag Size due to the potential presence of loose metal pieces in the bag.

The lot under recall is Lot Code 410B2TXT02 with a Best By Date of March 4, 2025. It’s a limited voluntary recall affecting 315 bags of product that were sold by Walmart in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

The mysterious upper respiratory virus in dogs has arrived in our county. Animal Hospitals and reputable groomers and boarding friends are responding accordingly and we will as well at Mentone Minis.
If you already have reservations for your dog to stay soon, we hope to be able to honor those reservations. We won’t be adding any additional pets to the dates your pet is scheduled to stay. You will be receiving a message from me regarding safety precautions that I request you take with your pets prior to their arrival.
We already clean and sanitize our kennel between dogs and during their stay.
Hopefully these steps will allow us to remain open and keep your dogs and our dogs free from this virus.
