Hey Friends be sure to give Oddpaw Studio a like and follow to keep up with their pop up dates. Allison is not only a local photographer but a dog trainer too!! She specializes in pet photography, her prices were very fair and obviously her set and studio is all pet friendly! 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
She also shoots dog shows and events so it’s a fun page to follow along on. If you’re interested in participating in any of those fun events be sure to check out our friends at Camo Cross Dog Training for help gettting started. 🥰

Shout out to Oddpaw Studio for taking these fun Valentines pictures for us. It was super short notice and on a whim but we piled In the truck and off we went. I’d say it was worth it!! We hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines with lots of hugs and kisses. Xoxoxoxox 🩷❤️🩷❤️🩷❤️

We have some doggone great news!! Our “Reading With Prairieland Dogs” program that we do in partnership with the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library has received a $6000 grant from the 20/30 club of Topeka!
The children who read with our dogs get a book to take home and keep, and the money from this grant will enable us to purchase a wider variety of books appropriate for all age ranges. Additionally, 25% of the funds have been earmarked for the purchase of books for children who are Spanish speaking.
Please join us in giving a huge tail-wagging thank you to the 20/30 club for this generous contribution towards our efforts to promote literacy in our community through the magic of the human/animal bond.
(And FYI…our next session of RWPD will begin in March, so stay tuned for details!)

I am loving seeing all our past puppies fill up my feed on my personal page. Did you know when you get a puppy from us - you become part of our Sunkissed Family? I love to stay in touch with my puppies as they grow over the years and I inadvertently grow to love them and their forever families. I enjoy seeing all the celebrations, engagements, new houses, new babies and the list goes on. Sometimes our puppies go to families towards the end of their life and that is an amazing thing to watch too. They provide amazing support in empty nesting, retirement and just an amazing companion so you’re never alone. I am truly honored to be part of it through my puppies.

The puppies turned 8 weeks last Wednesday and although I’m a bit behind posting I wanted to be sure to share our last “weekly video”. It has been a bitter sweet weekend around here but thanks to all your likes and shares - we found amazing homes for all the puppies!! We are now taking deposits towards our next 2 litters planned for March with a going home day on May of all things go as planned. Spring/Summer is great for potty training- just saying! Let me ASAP if you would like to be at the top of our wait list for spring 2025.

Throwback Thursday to when the puppies went for puppy shots and vet checks at 6 weeks old. The girls always like to take a minute to to cuddle the the puppies for me and socialize them. We love our friends and Banner Creek Animal Hospital P.A.

Taylor Swift With The Famous Children’s Mercy Dog Jellybean (Also A Chiefs Fan💛) Today At Children’s Mercy Hospital In Kansas City: Jellybean was born Dec. 10, 2020, and she began working at Children's Mercy in October 2022. Jellybean and her handler are consult based and work all over the Adele Hall campus. Jellybean brings lots of smiles, comfort, and distraction to the patients and families she sees.

The puppies are 7 weeks old already and taking a quick break outside while I clean the whelping box inside. It was bitter cold yesterday when we did this and my hands even started getting cold while I was taking the video 🥶! However, we are still working on going potty outside every chance we get and they still need to get that puppy energy out!! We currently have 2 girls and 1 boy available. # @
